Why Does Wallmart Sell Infected Meats

Infected cut from metal?!?!? HELP!?

First, has she had a tetanus shot in the last ten years? That's important. If she hasn't, she probably needs one right away.

Secondly, itching can be a sign of healing. But the redness and bumps could possibly represent early infection. The Neosporin, gauze and loose bandage are great first aid. When you're talking about sharp injuries like this, you want to watch for redness, warmth or heat over that area, and/or discharge coming from the wound. Redness will sometimes occur without infection. But I would see the doctor right away if there is any heat or discharge, worsening redness, red streaks going from the wound towards the heart, or definitely if there is no history of a tetanus shot in the last 10 years. Tetanus is a very dangerous bacteria, can hang around on metal or rusty surfaces, and can make a person very, very sick, so it's not something to play around with.

Are walmart's fish any cheaper?

Yes walmarts fish are cheaper, but it's usually a negligible amount. 10 cents isn't worth the quality of their fish, more often than not infection runs rampant through their tanks, and they usually use their tank systems water to refill the betta's cups. That is, whenever they get around to doing maintains on the poor guys.
Pertsmart for me is about a 20 min drive, were as petco is a ten min drive, but I never purchase fish from my local petco (not that all petcos are bad, I've been to nice ones, but my closest one is terrible). Their tanks are more often than not diseased with one ailment or another, and their betta's, though they usually have a larger selection, are usually sick and dying. I rescued one pink male half moon, sick with fin rot and fought to save him for three months before he finally died.
I guess it's your choice, but when I put fish into my tanks I want to be extremely certain of their health before I risk infecting my whole tank.
I've received hydra and ich from poor stores before, and fighting to kill them while saving my fish is something I never want to deal with again.
You just have to decide if the ten cents and closer store is worth the chance. You may get a great Selection and luck out on a healthy pair, but it's like a game of russian roulette. You never know what your outcome will be.
Best of Luck!

Walmart brand Ol' roy dog food.?

Here are the ingredients of IL' Roy:
Ground yellow corn, soybean meal, ground whole wheat, corn syrup, poultry fat, Meat and bone meal (Animal Fat Preserved with BHA and Citric Acid), Chicken by-product Meal, Rice, Animal Digest, Salt, Calcium Carbonate, Potassium Chloride, Choline Chloride, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Vitamin D and E Supplement, Niacin, Copper Sulafate, Manganous Oxide, Vitamin A Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Meadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex Source of Vitamin K, Calcium Iodate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Riboflavin Supplement, Cobalt Carbonate, Folic Acid, Sodium Selenite, Folic Acid

Ground yellow corn, soybean meal, ground whole wheat are all grain & are known allergens in dogs. Dog food ingredients are listed in order of weight. The ingredients before the first listing of fat comprise the vast majority of the food. As you can see there is no meat in this product - dogs are members of the order carnivora meaning that they need a diet consisting of prey animals.

The corn syrup is an unnecessary ingredient it is added to the food to make the dog want to eat it. A food with a high meat content is naturally appetizing to dogs. Diets high in sugar have been known to cause obesity, increase risk of cancers, cause yeast infections, cause tooth decay, diabetes - and of course all the problems that go along with these conditions! There have also been studies indicating that high sugar diets contribute to many behavior problems. Several schools for troubled children have outright banned sugar - and have seen a positive effect.

Meat and bone meal is not from a named meat source - menaing it can come from ANYTHING accordign to the AAFCO standards. 4 D cattle, roadkill, euthanised pets from animal shelters, etc.

BHA is a perservative that has been proven carcinogenic in animal experiments & is banned in many countries (not the US) because the danger.

Meadione Sodium Bisulfite has been BANNED for use in over the counter (human) products because of it's high toxicity. It causes cytotoxicity in liver cells, causes hemolytic anemia and hyperbilirubinemia, considerably weakens the immune system, has possible mutagenic effects, & is directly toxic in high doses.

Now consider dogs are eating this stuff EVERY DAY and are constantly being exposed to all those nasties.

How do I identify non-GMO vegetables and fruits at Walmart or any other store in the United States or perhaps any other country, if not mentioned?

There are currently no GMO fruits other than arctic apple, which is not on the market anwhere, and papaya, and pretty much all the papaya is a GMO, modified to be virus resistant. In other words, the only GMO fruit sold in any store anywhere on earth is papaya, and it is perfectly safe. For vegetables, GMO squash and sugar beet exist, plus GMO eggplant in Southern Asia, and GMO potato exists but is not on market yet. Some GMO sweetcorn modified to require no insecticides exists, though it is mostly canned or frozen (Thanks for the correction, Phil Hutton!). Most GMO corn and all GMO soybeans are used as animal food or processed into corn syrup or soy oil, and are not sold whole as edamame or as tofu. So, besides maybe squash and sweetcorn, no vegetables sold in the US are GMO.So you can see now why having a “GMO-free” label on foods is misleading. It gives the false impression that items without the label are GMOs, which is unfair to those growers who cannot afford the money for a label that only serves to increase the product's price. And then you have the “GMO-free” salt and bottled water. That is just silly.Oh, and it is very solidly proven that GMOs pose no risk to human health compared to non-GMOs. Just ask the diabetics who inject themselves with GMO insulin every day to stay alive, or anyone who has ever eaten a papaya in the last few decades.

Is it safe to eat salmon from the supermarket raw, as one would eat sashimi?

Absolutely - as long as it is farmed salmon. I've worked in this field for several years and have just published a study showing that farmed trout and halibut are extremely unlikely to be infected with nematode worms that can infect humans and the same has been shown previously for farmed salmon. If you want to read the article, it's here: An assessment of the potential for zoonotic parasitic nematode infections arising from the consumption of maricultured Atlantic halibut, Hippoglossus hippoglossus (L.), and rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss (Walbaum), in ScotlandThe reason farmed fish are not infected with these worms is that the infection is transferred via infected prey, and as farmed fish are habituated to eating heat-processed, pelleted diets and are fed to satiation, they do not eat wild prey, which may be infected. Conversely, wild fish are absolutely not safe to eat raw as they commonly contain nematode worms often in high numbers. These fish need to be frozen first at -20C for 24+ h before preparing as sushi or sashimi, otherwise you have a high risk of ingesting a live nematode, which can cause severe epigastric pain as the parasite penetrates the gut wall.By the way, there is no such thing in the UK as 'sushi-grade salmon', we just have fresh salmon or frozen salmon and it is all farmed (there is also a small market for wild Pacific salmon imported from Canada).

What does a deep yellow pee with rotten smell signify?

Could be quite a number of reasons - it would actually be helpful to know if it started recently, or has been happening for a long while. Also if it's on-and-off or constant - among quite a number of things! Even the describing the smell and color can be a bit subjective, so it's best to take the urine to a lab and have it tested, if you're worried. That said -Deep yellow could just mean that you haven't been drinking a lot of water -- or that something is rather wrong with your body. Could be anything dehydration, to a liver problem, to hemolysis.Rotten smell (assuming it's sulfur-like or rotten eggs), could simply be from diet, a liver problem, or a metabolic disease. Basically anything that causes a buildup of sulphur or sulphur compounds in your urine. In short - going to get checked and having a formal medical assessment might be called for.

Should I get my cartilage pierced at Walmart or Claires?

i think u should get it pierced at Claire's because, who gets there ear pierced at walmart any more plus, they have been doing it for 20 years and have pierced over 80 million ears at Claire's

Piercing smells like rotting flesh, and won't heal?

Cartilage piercings can take up to a year to heal. It smelling means you are cleaning it properly and are wearing crappy jewelry.

Go to a professional body piercer & get some high quality decent jewelry put in. Follow his advice for aftercare and things like that and be extra careful with your piercing. Try to stop sleeping on it as well and don't remove the jewelry once you have high quality stuff put in.

I bought a drink in Walmart. After drinking it, I found it was expired. What I can do by law?

Short answer: not much.Longer answer:   In order for you to have a claim, you have to show some harm was caused by the expired drink.  Without harm caused, you might be able to bring the receipt and the bottle back to Walmart, and they may credit you for the drink. If there was harm caused, you might be able to make a claim for damages.  So using a very hypothetical example, if you drank an expired dairy-based drink and you develop a Salmonella or E. Coli infection, you should save the bottle and the receipt.  Put the bottle in the  refrigerator to preserve it at the same state it was when you finished  drinking it.  Bring the bottle to the doctor so they can test the remaining contents (if you didn't rinse it out, then there is still residue inside the bottle). If the contents contain the bacteria, and it's the same bacteria with which you were infected, you would have to prove that the bottle was the same one you bought, and you were infected by that drink. There are lots of problems here, though:There's little proof that you were infected by that specific drink, although the fact that the bottle and you are infected by the same bacteria is probably close enough. There's no way to prove that you didn't introduce the bacteria into the open bottleThere's no proof that the bottle and the receipt match other than the UPC code, which is the same for all of that product.  In other words, you could have bought the product twice: once a month before, and once currently (when your register receipt shows you did), and you're holding the old product bottle and the new receipt. So is it likely that you can successfully bring a claim from nothing more than an expired drink bottle? No, not very likely.  But if you can show harm was caused by the expired drink, you might have a claim.
