To automatically save sent messages; Click 'Options' 'Mail Options' The 'General' page should display The box for "When sending messages: Save a copy of the message in the Sent folder" should be checked to automatically save sent mail. Go above and click on 'Save Changes'
How do i change the subject line when i am forwarding an email?
I couldn't figure out how to do that, and when I was able to change the subject with a reply email, it didn't show the message history. Can you help me with this? It used to let me just put my curser into the subject line of a forwarded email and change it. Now it doesn't seem to give me the option. This new version of yahoo is very frustrating and time-consuming. Is there a way to return to the old yahoo?

Yahoo has a fascination with aggregating conversations that may be related and if you click Reply, since the recent changes to Yahoo, I have not been able to send it with a different topic either. It use to be easy with some emails to take one sent to you on a different topic, bring it up, change the topic, deleted the body of text, put in your text and send it , saving you the time of addressing it. It does not seem possible with the "new Yahoo". There must be some federal regulation making all the email providers change the way they format email. This makes snooping your email much easier. Let's face it, privacy in email is non-existent.

Only if you include the original sender with the forwarded email. In nearly all cases, if not all, when you forward an email you get an empty To, CC, and BCC address input box. The subject generally has “FW” or “FWD” added to the front of the email to show that it’s been forwarded. But ultimately, unless you add the original sender, the original sending will not know that you’ve forwarded the email.Now let me also say this. If the original sender included code embedded within an email letting him know exactly when and how many times the email has been opened, he will know. I see this with CRM software from time to time.But outside of that, with a traditional email, the original sender has zero knowledge you’ve forwarded the email, unless you include him as a recipient when you forward OR one of the recipients that you’ve forwarded the message to informs the original sender.

There is an all time big confusion on this due to yahoo policy.Anyhow currently Yahoo is accepting both user_name@yahoo.co.in and user_name@yahoo.com (mailto:user_name@yahoo.com) as userid for your yahoo account because basically it is considering just your user_name and ignores the domain while any user is trying to login but same is not the case for email exchange (which is big problem for users) ie yahoo is not accepting emails from both the email ids in the same inbox. Yahoo will accept email only from 1 (primary) email id in the inbox.It means that you can login to your yahoo account using any of the email id (@yahoo.com or @yahoo.co.in) as user id & your yahoo password.But you will receive email sent to your just one email id (which in your case is user_name@yahoo.co.in)Ideally speaking, either both the email id should be be treated as different yahoo accounts and should navigate to different inboxes or if they are treated as user id of same yahoo account then mails sent to both the email id should land in common inbox..Which is not happening and I think it is a big bug.No Doubt yahoo is on path of downfall.The dire consequences of this yahoo policy is that if you try to register for same user_name with Yahoo doamin, system will give error that user id already taken(which is taken by you only) but if anyone will send email on user_name@yahoo.com then you will not receive & he will get failure noticesOne of my relative was using 2 different yahoo accounts(and inboxes) with same id Eg x@yahoo.co.in and x@yahoo.com and then suddenly he could not access his yahoo[dot]com inbox becasue whenenver he tries login using yahoo[dot]com id, yahoo opens the yahoo[dot]co[dot}in account as it was primary account and he lost all his mails in yahoo[dot]com domain.So I will suggest to get the email id change in records and preferably get gmail/hotmail/or any other email id.I hope this helpedCheers !!
How do I reply to an email for a second time?
I wanted to send a PS to a message, but when ever I open the original message and hit "Reply" it's sending a message to ME not to the original sender. What happened to the original message and why can't I open it JUST it and send an additional response? Also why can't I delete just one of the email messages in a series. I wanted to delete ONE message (that had no real pertinent info) and the WHOLE conversation got deleted. THIS NEW EMAIL IS STUPID.
