Why Is It That Jobs For Liars Are Vary Successful High Paying Jobs

Why do people with high paying jobs look down on others with low paying jobs?

I ask this because I couldn't help to notice when some people are janitors (like me) society basically thinks that we're high school drop outs or don't have any education. When the Truth is I Do have an education. I did finish High School, I did go to college for a while but then I gave up because I couldn't do it and it was too hard. Not to mention I Hated school cause I was terrible cause of my aspergers. So I decided to do Janitorial because I have so much experience with it and also my father does it. So I'll take his business when the time is right.

My Point is that I noticed that other I graduated with from High School think that I'm not going anywhere in life cause of What I do. And also sometimes those big shots (lawyers, Doctors, Cops) or any other Degree person always laugh and say "I got a tip for you get a REAL JOB!!" plus I just feel like Im less than a person from everyone cause I try making small talk and they always look down on me. Not to mention I work for less than the minimum wage. I just feel like I'm a failure cause I couldn't be like someone that became a success after graduating from college.... If anyone out there has the best answer please tell me....

Can really really ugly guys like myself get a high paying job?

First of all tell your mom to step off--you're a product of her genes after all. If she doesn't like how you look, its 50% her fault. Second, if you're really that homely, use it to your advantage. The fact you're interested in politics is perfect. Do you know what powerful attractive men like? The answer is less powerful and less attractive men they can trust to make them look good. Find a local politician who's a good looking man and perhaps known for being a bit too into himself (not hard in the political sphere). Volunteer to work for him. Maybe he's someone who cruised through life on his good looks (you're right, it does happens). Become a confidant, a trustworthy lieutenant, a wingman. Gain some respect, some power, some clout. Get said attractive popular politician to write you a recommendation and point you in the right direction for college grants/scholarships.

And stop feeling sorry for yourself! Ugly is only as skin deep as beauty. These years when everyone is obsessed with looks will pass. Believe me-- age, male pattern baldness, and beer bellies are fabulous equalizers. Don't wait to start your life until some girl gives you approval for your looks. Its sooo overrated.

Do pathological liars stop lying?

leopards don't change their spots!

It would take a very special person to admit and address the problems. It's worth trying but unless they can admit to themselves they actually have a problem - change would be impossible. Of course if someone wants to change then they will. The question is would you ever really trust that person again? I've never witnessed a pathological liar admit to a problem and seek help for it. But good luck with it.

If you wish to be a success in the world, promise everything, deliver nothing. Do you agree?

It seems to be catching up to the liar in chief.

Should I lie about my salary in an interview in order to get a higher offer?

My thoughtsIf you tell your company that you are currently being paid less than the industry average, then they will certainly see this as an opportunity to pay you less. You have 2 main choices when negotiating:1. Don’t tell them what salary you are on.2. Lie about your salary. Some people here just saying ‘don't tell them your salary.’ Sound advice, but if they ask directly what your current salary is, and you side-step the answer, then they may well assume you are on a low salary, and therefore just offer you the industry average. If you exaggerate your salary, there is very low chance they will ever find out, and if they do, they are unlikely to do anything after the salary has been negotiated.Because I was being paid below industry average, when I moved away from my previous company I went for option 2. I exaggerated. My StoryMy old company paid me £20k plus expenses (my expenses worked out as about £4–5k a year)When I changed job I told them I was on £28k plus expenses (I think the industry average at the time was around £25k, and I wanted to ensure I would earn above that). They then offered me £35k. No negotiation needed :)6 months down the line I have just been promoted and given £45k :)If I had told them I was on £20k I am pretty sure I would have been offered closer to £25k rather than £35k, and would maybe be earning £35k after my promotion.I am generally an honest person, but a lie to my multi-millionaire employer to get them to fork out a little more cash for my services so me and my child can live more comfortably.. Can’t say I feel bad about that one..ConclusionSorry to disagree with the other answers, but in your situation where you are earning less than the industry average, I’m gonna go with lying being the best course of action.
