Why Is Some Of My Mail From People In My Contacts Going To My Spam Folder

Why is my email going to the recipients' spam folder?

One of the reasons that this happened is maybe because you used spam trigger words. Some spam filters are triggered by certain words in the subject line or the body of the email. Some spam trigger words include words like amazing, click here, order now, this is not spam and some other. You could avoid this happening by using Spam Filter Testing and Spam Checkers. Also, pay attention to what and how you say things in your emails.Always monitor your campaign. You need to have your list of emails double opt-in (that would be the best for you and your campaign reputation). This requires the user's confirmation that he has actively joined your email list. When a user registers on your site or subscribes to your newsletter, you need to send them an email.Segment your list of emails. Also, use an email validation service. This kind of tool will help you a lot. Before you send, clean your list of bounces, traps, and complainers. By reducing these three components from your email lists, you will increase your list quality, your Sender Score, your domain and IP reputation. All these factors increase your delivery and inbox rates. I can recommend Zerobounce.net as they are an email validation platform.Best of luck!

Are my emails going into your spam/junk folder?

They could be. The only real way to know is to test send your emails to what is called a ‘seed’ email address. In email marketing a company may have several seeds which they do not regularly mail to. They’re simply a fresh gmail, hotmail, yahoo, Comcast etc. they periodically send tests to them, login and check to see how they inboxed. They’ll also do a header check for errors etc.Glock has a nice app for this and our team has one we developed just for our use.

How can I send a plain text email to 700 contacts without it going to spam or promotions?

You'll need to use a good email service provider (ESP) that also has a plain text email option. Look for ESPs that have good reputations, can send large volumes, and actively work with internet providers to ensure their customers' emails get delivered. Some good ESPs include ActiveCampaign, AWeber, Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact, Drip, HubSpot, Infusionsoft, MailChimp, and Ontraport, to name a few. You'll also want to use an email verification tool to maximize your email ROI. A good email verification service is fast, accurate, and easy to use. If you want to send emails like the big guys, without the resources to remember to do bulk email verification or developers to implement complicated APIs, then I recommend a solution I founded called mailfloss. It's a true set-it and forget-it solution that takes the pain out of bulk email verification. All you need is a supported ESP. The ones mentioned earlier in this answer are all supported, with more on the way. With a supported ESP, simply complete a one-time, 60 second setup that requires no technical knowledge or developer resources. Just connect the ESP to mailfloss, set some preferences, and that's it. From that point on mailfloss automatically keeps your email lists clean and validated.

My Yahoo email account sent spam emails to all my Contacts List.?

On 11/13, I opened a brief “Hello-subject email from a friend, containing a message to ”Take a Look” at a link for a “Career” article, although that went to an obvious spam website for an internet affiliates program.

THEN, on 11/16 Friday-Saturday overnight, my Yahoo email SENT out this same email to all my Contacts list.

All my sent emails were listed in my Sent Folder.
It is puzzling that it did take a few day before these emails were sent.
Some were returned to my Inbox as non-deliverable/rejected by recipient.

*Can you tell me how the malware got into my Address Book, to generated these emails?
*Did the malware compromise just my Yahoo email, or also my PC computer?

I did get negative results on manual virus scans I ran on my PC, using Malwarebytes and others. My Norton 2012 Internet Security program did not catch the original email or website.

I have sinced changed my email password. I checked all my settings, as recommended on your Help page, and saw no changes. No further outgoing emails have been generated.

Yahoo Mail: Anyone had problems with non-spam mails going into spam folder? (2 questions)?

Q1: Sometimes I get mail that goes into my SPAM folder that should not be going in there on Yahoo. Like if I'm in a group of people who have been replying to each other back and forth on the same subject, sometimes a group member who's in the "CC" list replies and I later find that their email went directly into the spam box....The message of the email was nothing out of the ordinary either just a simple paragraph and from a major email account like hotmail. Any reason? Do you find this is somewhat common?

Q2: Today I sent an email and I noticed that my email included a signature of "Do You Yahoo!?
Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around
http://mail.yahoo.com"

Usually it doesn't do that, does it just randomly attach itself to mails you send out once in a while? Would that throw off spam filters into thinking my mail is spam? Now I'm paranoid.

Can't delete contacts from my yahoo e-mail list, am receiving this message: Something unexpected just happened?

I can't delete contacts from my e-mail list, keep getting the following message: Something unexpected just happened. Please contact Yahoo! Customer Care if the problem persists.Should I cancel my current yahoo e-mail account, and go back to Yahoo Classic

Is junk email the same thing as spam?

Kind of.
Spam is email from people you dont know.
It is junk..but some people call the trash folder junk, also.

The best thing is to go to Options> Mail Options>Spam and only accept
mail from your contacts. Then about once a week, just glance at the spam
folder to make sure nothing good went there by accident. It will. Esp confirmation
emails from website-- purchases or membership etc.
Otherwise, no need to even look there.

If youre trying to block every spam email, that comes to you--youre defeating yourself
When you open a spam email, that often tells them..they have someone who opens the mail and read it. They have tracking on there. Then they'll sell your address to other marketing people.
Never open, reply or unsubscribe to spam.

How do I get my Spam folder on AOL to show?

I ate it for dinner on a slice of bread. Sorry buddy but my mommy won't cook for me anymore. And you know us boys, if the mommy doesn't do it, it doesn't get done. LOL Wanna have real answer?! Read further! hehe

You can view your Spam folder by clicking the Mail drop-down menu on the AOL® toolbar to open it, then clicking Spam Folder. Your Spam folder will open and display a list of e-mails designated as spam.

The Spam folder uses special icons to indicate each message's type, for example, e-mail from bulk senders or e-mail from people you don't know, and also displays the date the e-mail was received, the sender's e-mail address, and the e-mail's subject line.

If you see a piece of e-mail that is not spam, click the e-mail to highlight it, then click the This is Not Spam button. The message will be automatically moved to your New folder. You should then add that e-mail address to your AOL® address book or your Custom Sender List, if you have set one up, so that future e-mails from this sender will not be sent to your Spam folder.

Once you verify that e-mail in your Spam folder is actually junk e-mail, you can delete it. It is a good idea to delete your unwanted e-mail periodically.

If you are using the AOL® OpenRide® software, you can view your Spam folder by clicking it in the MAIL pane. This will display a list of e-mails marked as spam. If you find that an e-mail has been forwarded to your Spam folder in error, all you need to do is, in your Spam folder, click the e-mail once to highlight it, then click the Not Spam button. The message will be automatically moved to your Inbox folder. Alternatively, after highlighting the e-mail, you may right-click the e-mail, then select This is not Spam.
