Why Is The Canon Eos 5d Mark Ii Using An Odd Number Of Megapixels Instead Of Even

What makes the Canon 70D worth buying?

It depends on which camera you already own,If you already have a Canon 1dx Mk II or 5D Mk III or 7D mk II, then i guess for you buying a 70 D is not gonna worth it. (it’ll be worth something only in case if you want an articulating tilt/swivel touch screen and continuous autofocus in live mode for shooting video)And if you are a beginner and you have a 1200D or 1300D or a 50D or if you are someone like me who still uses his 10 year old 350D then i’d say go for a 70D, it’ll definitely be worth every paisa you spend. Now coming to the points why 70D is worth getting, if you are upgrading from a lower model :Better weather sealed body than the previous models.Groundbreaking Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology delivers full-time continuous autofocusing for both video recording and Live View still shooting and features on-chip phase detect system with nearly two-thirds frame coverage at every single pixelExtremely smooth and accurate camcorder-like video AFHigh quality, Full HD (1080p) video at 30p and 24p, with pro-level ALL-I and IPB compression19-point all-cross-type conventional AF system with microadjustmentExceptionally fast (pro-grade) conventional autofocus lagImproved Live View still AF (though still not as fast as most mirrorless cameras)20.2-megapixel APS-C sensor delivers improved resolution over the 60DVery good high ISO performanceExcellent hue accuracy with manual white balanceQuality 30 x 40 inch prints at base ISODecent, stabilized kit lens with versatile focal range (18-135mm STM)Low shutter lag and very fast cycle timesSpeedy 6.7fps burst mode, with good buffer depths for its classSharp and bright 3-inch LCD touchscreen that swivels a very useful max of 270 degreesBuilt-in, pop-up flash supports wireless control of slave flash unitsVery fast flash recycle speedsExcellent Wi-Fi features, especially remote shooting via Canon app (iOS and Android) with full exposure controlsHighlight Tone Priority and Auto Lighting Optimizer features help with harsh lightingBuilt-in lens corrections for shading and chromatic aberration can be individually controlledMulti Shot Noise Reduction and Handheld Night Scene modesIn-camera HDR feature with adjustable strength (though see Con about cropping)Three RAW file resolutions: Large (20MP), Medium (11MP) and Small (5MP)Very good battery life when using optical viewfinder

Pentax vs Canon vs Nikon DSLR Camera?

For me personally it's Pentax, I like my cameras small and compact and that's the way Pentax make them, I wouldn't listen to the Pentax 'mockers', some suggest that Pentax has a limited range of lenses compared to the likes of Canon or Nikon, it doesn't sway me as the independent companies like Sigma, Tamron and Tokina all offer a decent range of lenses that fit Pentax.

Since it's your first DSLR camera, it would be better for you to pop into a camera store and ask for a quick demonstration of the cameras in your budget, some cameras are bulkier and fiddlier than others, you would prefer one camera to the others, and all the offerings from Canon, Nikon, Pentax and Sony will give you decent performance and many years of enjoyment...it really is down to which one that you prefer...what is good for me doesn't mean that it'll be good for you.

Whatever you decide..Enjoy..!
