Why Is The United States Car Oriented

Why is the United States car oriented?

People who can't afford cars still have cars. People who barely get by have cars. How do students even purchase cars? I have a lack of understanding how half the USA is able to own cars.

State Police License Plate Frames. Are they legit?

The way that you describe this, it sounds like it is less official and more support oriented in nature. Although the driver may indeed be a state trooper, the likelihood is that it is a personal vehicle. Here in California, we have a similar thing with license plate frames that have the radio call letters of the department that the driver either is a member of or supports.

How big is boston compared to atlanta?

I'm originally from Georgia and moved to Boston so this is what I think. Feeling wise to me the winner would be Boston, because it is a compact bustling city. It has thousands of commuters and students pouring in each day on every form of transit one can imagine. It is very walkable and it just feels like you're in the city. Boston also has a large suburban base that spreads into neighboring states more so each year. Atlanta on the other hand is a much different type city. It is not well defined in many ways, and its downtown is not lively after working hours, it doesn't have all those commuter trains and streetcars and people walking all over, so it doesn't get that big city feeling. It spreads out and out and is very car oriented. Its difficult to tell where Atlanta begins and ends, very suburban feeling sprawled out place. So Atlanta might be bigger land area wise but not in big city feel. Plus Boston doesn't have particularly tall buildings, Atlanta's skyline is actually quite a bit more impressive in terms of height and density of tall buildings.

In terms of geography Atlanta is bigger.

Atlanta: Area
- City 132.4 sq mi

Boston: Area
- City 89.63 sq mi

"Budget" Car Rental in Hawaii?

Hi,

We're staying in Hawaii for a while and planning on renting a car in both Maui and Oahu. We found some good deals on the website from "Budget".

I've rented cars from National, Alamo and Sixt before, but I don't have any experience with Budget. Is it a good / trustworthy company?

Thanks for any help!
