Why Is The Us Government Profiting From The Stupidity And Ignorance Of The Americans

Are Americans spineless, stupid or both?

congress has violated every amendment in the bill of rights, committed acts of high treason and shown time and time again that they do not have the American peoples interests at heart and the whole time lined their pockets with gold yet the American people do nothing accept continue to do the most useless act of all in a corrupted regime, Vote.

Most Americans seem more interested in blaming the "opposing party" rather than accept they they are responsible for allowing this corruption to take place and refusing to do anything to stop it.

Is it because the average American is stupid or because the average American is spineless?

Why do Americans call French stupid for the Maginot Line well in fact even Americans thought it was brilliant?

It seemed like a good idea at the time - given the static warfare experience of WW1. It protected against Germany, and this time was connected to the Belgian fortifications.

Building massive static defences wasn't just some French strategy, either - the Germans built the Siegfried Line, which was basically the same thing only on the other side of the border. They were also responsible for the Atlantic Wall, to defend against an invasion from the British Isles.

Sizzup - were the Maginot Line defended with American troops, it would have been over in days - at that time, the underbudgeted US Army consisted of no more than 200,000 men, with few tanks of little quality, little mechanized capability and mostly WW1 equipment. They performed poorly for all of their early battles in 1941 and 1942, let alone if they were commited in 1940.

J P - Poland was seperated from the French and British allies by only one major obstacle - all of Germany. But no, the French actually did attack and hold German ground for a time. Nor did the French merely "roll over" when their fortifications were breached - the Battle of France was the bloodiest battle of the war to that date.

Hundreds of thousands dead and wounded on both sides. Compare that to the much lighter losses sustained in the failed British defences of Singapore, Greece, Crete, Malaya and Burma. Compare it again with the failed American defences of the Philippines, Guam and Wake Island. Sideshow battles compared to France, or even Poland.

The French put up a fight, but were simply outmaneouvered (don't tell me that the Americans could have held off 3 million mechanized Germans at the time with their outdated and undersized army, or that the "armed citizens" would have kept them at bay - against German Panzers and ruthless SS troops, they'd have been slaughtered.)

When, why, and how did America become so anti-intellectual?

About the same time that intellectuals became so anti-American.That isn’t just a flippant answer, either.  It’s the closest thing to the truth you’ll find.  Americans, by and large, are extremely patriotic, deeply religious, and rather socially conservative.  This was never a problem for most of our history because it was nearly universally agreed upon.  But then there came a time (about WWI) when it became academically fashionable for intellectuals and academics to be embarrassed by patriotism because one should be a citizen of the world, and not of something so narrow and parochial as a single nation - or so the thinking went.  At the same time, academics were rejecting Christianity as insufferably backward and socially inhibiting, and viewed those who still professed it as “bible-thumpers” and knuckle-dragging Neanderthals not to be accepted in polite company. In some countries, such attitudes quickly filtered down to the ordinary people and became the new agreed-upon social standard, but America took the opposite path and rejected the intellectuals instead.  The mass of Americans quickly came to view intellectuals as heretics - disloyal, ungrateful, arrogant fools who were quite likely bound for hell - an attitude which has not changed much over the past hundred years.Americans are not anti-intellectual, per se.  It would be better to classify it as anti-postmodernism, perhaps, and since most intellectuals nowadays are postmodernists of one sort or another, it gives the false appearance of anti-intellectualism.  Intellectuals who happen to be deeply patriotic and conventionally religious usually enjoy great respect and admiration among Americans

Why does modern society in America embrace ignorance and denigrate knowledge?

I am a chinese. In other words, a typical asian. When I come to U.S, the very first thing I realise is the amount of freedoms you enjoy.I have to say, in the United States, people really got a lot more of privilege to say things and do things according to their own wills, compare to the rest majority of the countries in the world. That means, people can choose been smart or stupid toward a situation if they want to. Nobody will make fun of you, or even nobody will care since they think they have nothing to do with you.Go back to your question. Since United States gives people freedom to act, most of time the schools will allow their students to do things according to their own will also. In school, there are typically two types of students: cool kids and smart kids. Most time, you rather become a cool kid who are a king of socialising or a smart kid, in other words, a nerd. Therefore, some students who might be bored of study, or jealous about students who make straight A might make fun of people who they think are boring people. Again, because they don’t like to study, and they deserve their own right to make this comment.I have a real story. When I first came to my school in the U.S, I began to socialise with people a lot. That’s the way where everybody like to talk to me or engage with me more. However, once I began to put more concentration to study, my classmates began to think I am like a typical stereotype asian and don’t think I am fun to be with anymore. No offence, just a story to let you know how people think about cool kids and smart kids.I believe United States is never a country who will reward any negative things over positive characteristics including talents, wisdom and intelligence. In stead, because people got relatively more freedom over here, they just have a right to say what they want to say. In other words, those people are not even serious when they say things that offend and amaze you.

Why america still support and defend capitalism?

i find that capitalism is failing as a political system world wide and in america yet I wonder why americans still support and defend it? For example the rich continues to stay rich and become even more richer and those who are born poor stay poor and even if they did good in their education they get a profession and work very hard their *** off for little money with no protection at all. For example all other countries of the world have better social political system and social protection like free medical and once you got a job your employer cannot easily fire you. However in united states there is no work contracts no social protection. insurance companies using public information to perfect their profit and deny the rights of others. you have a contract at-WILL!!!! this is only in united states. there is no one secured in their job in united states? why is this? why americans are so stupid to go and fight Islam ( which provides another alternative) or communism?
This is very savage capitalism those who are rich control politics of the united states and own mass media and brainwahs the ignorant masses? Yet americans still support this political system? why the people don't start a revolution in united states to change this?

Why do we live in a country that encourages stupidity?

In America, not only is stupidity not frowned upon, but it's encouraged as well! Reality TV now rewards stupidity. (I love how the free market rewards stupidity) Shows like Jersey Shore, Teen Mom, The Kardashians, and Honey Boo Boo have become a part of American culture that we cannot shake off.

The sad part is how there are probably more people that watch Reality TV than people who go out to vote.

Will the Native Americans ever rise up and try to take back the US?

To all the ignorant people----

Native americans get NO federal government handouts. NONE. No free college, no monthly checks, nothing. AND we pay all taxes, same as you. SO please either offer some proof of your allegations or stop spreading that stupid lie. Native americans don't get a DIME.

We are not lazy or weak. Although we are only 1% of the general population, we are nearly 7% of the US military armed forces. That says alot. As a percentage, we are the largest group in the services.

Re: The Casinos- we don't get rich off them. The STATES do, with an average revenue of 300 million in profits from OUR casino. We get job opportunities, and whatever profit is left over after the state takes it's cut, goes to our schools and hospitals and public works.

60% of the houses on my res don't have electricity or running water. Do we sound rich? Reservations are the poorest parts of america, living conditions equal to third world in many spots.
You'd be shocked and appalled.

So my question is---will American ever wise up and educate itself about the real life of the native peoples?
