Why does my boyrfriend never call after he says he will?
No honey, you should not call him for any reason unless you're dying, and you should tell him you're no longer going on this weekend getaway with him. When a man tells you that he will call and then doesn't, and does this consistently, he is showing you just how unimportant you are to him. He is treating you poorly and you are putting up with it by calling him. You must start showing some self respect. If he says he will call, then doesn't, don't call him. Let him call you. When he does, don't be available, because he isn't interested in you. A man who loves a woman does not treat her this way for any reason. Get the book "He's Just Not That In To You". Not the movie, the book. It will help you so much to see how a man acts when he loves you and how he acts when he doesn't.

The reason to go to church is to worship God through participation in the sacrifice of the mass and to be strengthened by Christ acting through the sacraments. Martyrs around the world and throughout history have risked and suffered death so as not to lose those things - they are that important. So keep your eyes focused on Christ, and do not allow the actions of evil men to become a barrier between you and him.

The way I see it, everyone is unique and grows up differently according to their given environments. You could have been around older relatives or siblings growing up which is why you may act and think more adult-like; your friend maybe surrounds himself with obnoxious people, and it's acceptable for him. It's just something you just have to deal with if you want to continue the friendship. It could be a good thing though. You can hang out with him occasionally around what childish friends he has (where you won't feel embarrassed in front of your friends) when you want to act silly or even have a good laugh-- if it doesn't bother you that is. In turn your mannerism could eventually rub off and he may mature a little more by listening to your insight and seeing the way you react to situations. Boys will be boys, and then they become men... but don't expect it anytime soon. Just enjoy being young and silly with your best friend. Don't try and talk it out because it clearly bothers him, it's something he's going to have to grow into. Hope this helped.

when he does that, does it make you want him more, are you more attracted to him...? If a guy was attentive, and could be relied on to call back when he says so, then, he'd be boring and you'd be less attractive to him. Why is this, i wonder, ...i've just been noticing how life works....

Hi well he is lacking self esteem and this has affected him so much he just wants to hide behind woe is me .life is a bi_tch I get really peed off at these spineless wimps who will not take ownership of their problems and gtry to resolve them in a positive way. Sorry this is not helping you but really he needs a good kick in his *** verbally NOT PHYSICALLY tho to get him going coz he just wants to drag u and others down to his level.
