In football, why does the clock continue to run between some plays?
During a football game, the clock normally runs only if the ball is in play, however I notice that sometimes the clock will continue to run even when the ball is not in play. What determines if the clock stops or keeps running?
Why was the United States not ruled by British?
What would subsequently become the United States, WAS indeed a British colony (or thirteen colonies bordering each other). The rebellious Brits living there no longer wanted to be under the rule of the British monarch and as such these thirteen colonies declared independence from Britain in 1776, and joined together to form their own country, called "The United States of America". They fought and won a war of independence with the Brits and after numerous conflicts with them, the people of the USA and Britain patched things up, becoming one of the strongest alliances in the world! The USA has also taken over the role of world superpower from Mother Britain, and we Brits continue to love them to this day.
Can we allow Europe to continue bending over for Islam?
By current population trends, in 30 years, Islam will become the dominant religion in Europe, bringing with it the kind of Sharia-ruled fascism we currently see in many Middle Eastern countries. And we all know what Islam would do if it had the resources and weapons of Europe in its grasp...and what do Europeans do? Pander and defer to Islam at every opportunity. It's almost like they're saying, "We've ruled ourselves for long enough. You can rule us for a while."
