Obama now, Hillary if she is elected the next president. Seriously, though, could you REALLY stomach looking into the hang-dog droopy-eyed phizog of Ted Cruz for the next 4 years? Talk about "egotistical"? How could any president work with an opposition that vowed to defeat him at every turn? Why didn't Obama repeal the Patriot Act when he had the chance?
You will notice he used the words "Carefully CRAFTED" proposal. Words mean things and he is also a very clever man to not vote against it in such a volatile climate. These are Terrorists Pal, not daughter Judy from the Jetson's living down the street, people who want you GONE! The Patriot act has absolutely NOTHING to do with the invasion of Privacy, it has to do with listening in on KNOWN TERRORISTS plans who are making arrangements to carry out those plans. You folks try to muddy the waters by trying to call it something it is not to play Politics and gain support from the Muslims and Middle Eastern immigrants,as to call to arms because of the terrible Conservative Racists trying to invoke on your Rights as United States citizens. I am surprised you folks don't really think that your lives are in Danger if we do not know who is about to come to dinner. Why was it important we thwarted another attempt of a bombing because of this technology. You really ought to count your blessings you do have people who understand these things and don't allow you to go running in the streets unattended................. Oh and ah Mr Jefferson sir, I understand your concerns here, but not that we are talking about Water Gate things that will be taking place. I know Politicians are VERMIN but I do not think Political ideology of Conservatives is that of Growing of Government, I think it is always been difficult to do when there are so many issues that are constantly being debated on and takes more people to further a cause or agenda. I will agree with your Jeffersonian take about his continual warnings about "BIG GOVERNMENT", but it does not concur with Conservative values at all. I think it is a warning from the Grave that Big Brother is and has started entering the Hearts and minds of what once was envisioned as a Great Nation, and the Liberal stance on Government being the answer was Jefferson's real fear to be realized...................

Well of course they should if they were actually patriotic Americans rather than party loyalis. Look though to be fair, what is going on now is “Obama’s tan suit scandal” vs an administration so full of scandal and wrong doing that the President’s unsecured phone is less than peanuts compared to everything else. Obama and HRC really did not do anything wrong or scandalous. Millions upon millions of dollars and decades were spent trying to find criminal or even scandalous behavior against HRC. There was nothing there. She was a hard working civil servant who had the misfortune of being a woman and a woman married to a man who was a real threat to the Republican party because he embraced everything that was good about the Republican party. Obama was so clean that they had to attack him for someone he might be associated, the way he saluted a soldier, or his clothing.So what it comes down to is that it isn’t that the insecurity of Trump’s phone isn’t important. It is that that importance does not reach critical mass for grabbing attention when there is so much more going on. If the MSM were concentrating on this issue then the Republicans would be forced to take a position and defend it. As it is, there is no reason for them to do so and politically there is reason to sweep it under the rug.
Facts show more jobs were created under higher Clinton era tax rates than the Bush era tax rates so how can?
Republicans are liars. They just want more tax cuts and to win elections. They are not interested in creating jobs. They even say it out loud. Mitch McConnell, minority leader of the Senate, said that his number one job is to make sure Obama is a one term President. he did not say that his number one job is to create jobs. That is because if the unemployment rate goes down, Obama will be elected to a second term. Therefore Mitch McConnell and the Republicans are out to reduce jobs by drastically cutting government spending while enriching the filthy rich by granting them even bigger tax cuts under the Paul Ryan plan, which has been endorsed by practically all Republicans in the House and Senate. Their current lie is that cutting taxes for the rich will create jobs. In fact, cutting taxes will mean more spending cuts are needed, which will in turn means layoffs in the public sector and layoffs for companies doing work for the USA. That in turn means reduced consumer spending, which will in turn slow the economy down some more. The voters will then blame the President for the high unemployment rate, as they are doing now, and the Republicans will get their wish and send one of their own into the White House. It is an evil scheme and it just may work. The truth is that cutting taxes will increase the amount of money available for investment. But businesses already are sitting on a lot of capital and they are not investing because consumer spending is depressed due to the high unemployment rate. Making more money available for investment will only mean that more money will go into speculating on gas, gold, copper, silver, and other commodities. All that it does is to drive up gas and food prices. That is what we are seeing now.
