How many bands are there in the world?
There are about 7,000,000 bands on Myspace(a recent survey was conducted). So, there might be around 8,000,000. Out of which 7,999,000 Suck.
If you could be a "groupie" for any band, past or present,which would you choose?
Elvis Presley was the only guy in the world with REAL groupies, they loved him because they loved him, then from then on musicians started going, "hey, look at me, I is just like Elvis!" and ladies started going, "oooh, I ****** love you, I think". and it became a cultural thing. anyway, If I was a woman I choose Led Zep, Robert Plant esp and if I was a man(which I am) I choose Cyndi Lauper even though she would probably never do anything like that. I think she is the most beautiful woman in the world.
Who are.. your top 10 Thrash bands of ALL Time?
1) Metallica cliche, but their first 4 are still the backbone of my collection - Orion 2) Evile madness that they top so many established acts? Maybe so, but IMO Ol Drake is better than 98% of guitarists in Thrash already, and I love EVERY SINGLE TRACK on both albums. That is more than I can say for most other bands. - Bathe in Blood 3) Megadeth Used to be my Number 2, but RIP is the only "flawless" album of theirs IMO, and in general I find the rest too hit and miss, though still better than almost all else. - Holy Wars.... the punishment due 4) Testament I actually like Slayer's Seasons in the Abyss better than anything Testament has done.. but I personally prefer Testament's discography as a whole.. and feel that they stayed as true to Thrash as Slayer..but with out stagnating. -tie..
