According to christianity, we are going to Heaven as we believe in the 9 out of 10 commandments and even we believe in the teachings of Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (pbut). Quran refers to Jesus (pbuh) as Messiah. Many christians quote the following verses to show that they will be saved even according to Christianity: Koran 2:62-63 “Lo! Those who believe (in that which is revealed unto thee, Muhammad), and those who are Jews, and Christians, and Sabians - whoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and doeth right - surely their reward is with their Lord, and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve. (62) And (remember, O Children of Israel) when We made a covenant with you and caused the mount to tower above you, (saying): Hold fast that which We have given you, and remember that which is therein, that ye may ward off (evil). (63)” This statement by Ibn `Abbas indicates that Allah does not accept any deed or work from anyone, unless it conforms to the Law of Muhammad that is, after Allah sent Muhammad . Before that, every person who followed the guidance of his own Prophet was on the correct path, following the correct guidance and was saved. (Tafsir of Ibn Kathir, Commentary on Surah 2:62) The faith of the Jews were those who stuck to the teachings of the Torah and the Sunnah of Moses until Jesus came. When Jesus came those who used to stick to the teachings of the Torah and followed the Sunnah of Moses and if he did not leave it and follow Jesus then he was in the wrong. And the faith of the Christians are those who stuck to the teachings of the Gospel and the Sharia of Jesus was a believer acceptable by Him (God) until Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came so those who don't follow Muhammad (PBUH) and let go of what they followed from the teachings of Jesus and the Gospel are in the wrong. Here is the point to my question. Although Osama bin Laden is not a trained Islamic jurisprudent, he is considered "well versed in the classical scriptures and traditions of Islam" and has been mentored by scholar such as Musa al-Qarni. Therefore you can begin your journey as moderate Muslim and through more and more "guidance" become more and more like a famous terrorist we know of. Those who speak Truth do not fear criticism or skepticism since Truth would eventually prevail, so why does it appear that Islam not only does not welcome it, Islam systematically tries to silence it!!! WHY? I would embrace my critics and skeptics because when I prove them wrong I will vindicated and they will look like fools. I fear no criticism.
