Wii Fit I Dont Understand Is It Accurate

Is my weighting scale accurate if i stay in an apartment thats upstairs.?

I have a digital scale in my bathroom at home. When I got on the scale this morning, undressed, it said 154lbs but when I went to the doctor's office the scale there said i was 151.5 and that was with all my clothes on. Do I just need another bathroom scale or is it because I stay in an upstairs apartment. My sister thinks its because i stay upstairs, I think its because I need another scale.

Which is best fit countersink vs counterbore?

Not sure I understand your question. Countersunk fasteners are self-centering, which also means that positional accuracy between individual holes in a hole pattern are much more critical. You can get full head clearance in a thinner plate with countersunk fasteners than you can with counterbored/socket head fasteners. Countersunk fastener heads are not as strong generally as socket head fasteners, and they usually have some side loading due to inaccuracies in positional placement. Shear loading is a no-no for countersunk fasteners because the countersunk hole acts as a wedge trying to pop the head off. Therefore counterbored/socket head fasteners have higher load ratings, especially in shear.

How accurate is height to weight BMI scales?

BMI is a stupid method of determining whether you are overweight or not. For details on why it is stupid, see my blog post. But the basic issue is that it only accounts for height and weight, not muscularity or proportions.A much better measure is the waist hip ratio. Measure y0ur waist at its narrowest. Measure your hips at their widest. Divide the first by the second. If it’s around 0.75 for a woman (or 0.9 for a man) you are doing very well indeed. But this guide isn’t perfect, it’s just a lot better than BMI.Measuring body fat accurately is very hard. The only really accurate method is to weigh yourself underwater and out of water, then do some calculations. That’s not something most people are prepared to do.

Are people considerably less accurate when they use gun peripherals rather than keyboard and mice?

Great question ! The answer is that if they already know how to use a gun, then they are much more accurate with a gun peripheral (or a hand controller in lieu of). But if they are clueless about guns, they might as well stick with an XBox or a mouse. It also depends on how realistic/ unrealistic the game is. The more realistic it is, they are going to need a gun controller. We learned this first hand building a VR shooting simulator for shotguns - “wing-shooting” - shooting a moving object that requires moving the gun in front of the target. An shotgunner that knows how to do that will pick it up quickly with a hand held controller - such as the HTC Vive. The controller will take the place of the shotgun and they will swing on the target. This is not a matter of accuracy per se, but eye hand coordination - linked back to their muscle memory of shooing moving targets - which is more like a golf swing. To carry this a step further, we are building a VR gun controller that you can fit onto your own gun.

How much time does it take to learn German and speak it fluently?

First, what do you consider as fluent? Where do you want to use it for?Use these answers to set goals that are doable now, like, in a day. Because you can start using a language from day 1. Fluency, then, is an artificial limit to judge if you are good enough. But if you can do what you want to do with it (which can be pretty soon, as Judith Meyer and Benny Lewis could testify, provided you focus on that), I think that is a way better way to see it than "fluency".But to answer your question, if you look at this infograph, German would be somewhere between Easy and Medium:

Wii fit ADDs pounds on for subtracting clothing weight?

I really don't understand the logic of this. I was wearing heavy pyjamas this morning when I weighed myself on Wii fit and I first did the standard simple test and I was pretty okay with my findings (even if it was 2lbs heavier than yesterday).

But then I realised, "hey, I'm wearing heavy PJs, I'll set it to subtract 2lbs so that my weight comes out more accurately". So I did so, then re-weighed myself a minute after the original weigh-in.

Wii fit decided to tell me I'm actually 4 lbs heavier than yesterday (basically shows me having gained 2 lbs in the 1 min it took me to change the setting). I don't understand how subtracting 2 lbs of weight for clothing actually is supposed to make me heavier, throw my BMI up and add 2lbs of weight! It's this way no matter what settings I try (and the more weight for clothes I try to add, the heavier it keeps making me).

Does anyone else have this issue? It's getting very annoying; is my Wii fit unreliable as a scale?

Silly me, I bought the Wii Fit not realizing you need Wii first. Is Wii hard to learn? What kind of thing does

"Wii" fit
Nintendo "Wii"
You REALLY didn't notice that?

If I drill a hole with bit diameter “x”, what is the diameter of the resultant hole? How is the bit diameter related to the actual drilled hole size? I'm sure the latter is slightly larger, but by how much?

The short practical answer to your question is to finish your hole with a reamer.  Reamers should be run with plenty of lubricant and much slower than drills.  You may even want to size your mating cylinders according to available reamer sizes.  For example - dowel pins present a common case where precise press fits and slip fits are desired.  Dowel pins are sold in standard sizes with tight prescribed tolerances.  Reamers are commonly available that are sized specifically to produce press fits and slip fits for particular dowel pin sizes. If you are in the U.S. McMaster-Carr is a good source for drills, reamers etc.If you don't have a reamer at hand but need to make an accurate hole - first use a drill one or two sizes below the final size you want.  Then go back and drill with your final size drill.  This is called drill reaming and can usually get a hole to within a few thousandths of an inch of the nominal final drill size.If you are not using a drill press or a mill or lathe, you may consider building yourself some kind of guide block with a drill bushing which can help you guide in your drill perpendicular to the surface of your plate - more so than drilling by hand anyway.

Can you shoot 9 mm rounds out of a .357 revolver?

Not unless the cylinder is swapped out for one that can either headspace the 9mm cartridge properly, or that can accommodate “half-moon” or “full-moon” clips.Without this conversion, the 9mm Parabellum rounds will not be in a proper position to be struck by the firing pin.The barrel does not need to be changed; a 9mm Parebellum bullet is .356 caliber. An unmodified .357 Magnum revolver cannot safely or reliably fire 9mm ammo.
