Can I gain weight if I drink two litres of milk every day?

Humans are the only creature that drinks the milk of another species; a cow’s milk is meant for her calves. There are much healthier ways to gain weight, including being on a proper diet and exercise program. If you must know, potatoes, beans, grains, fruits, and vegetables will give you all of the nutrition you need to gain weight in the proper way.

What happens if I drink 5 litres of milk per day?

I went as far as drinking 1 gallon of milk a day (3.78541 L) on top of my regular meals for a total of 4000-5000+ calories a day for approximately 9 months while training for powerlifting competitions and trying to bring myself from 168lbs to 200 .. well it works wonders , not only I was able to get to close to my goal weight (198lbs) but because of the hard training I was able to limit the amount of fat and was able to stay roughly at around 16% body fat measured with a caliper which was about the same as I started.. in short I put on a ton of muscles people would ask me about steroids and my response was to drink a gallon of milk during training and you’ll achieve similar results , the combination of calories/macronutrients and hard training elicit a strong hormonal response .hair started to grow thicker and faster, recovery from training was much easier , skin got oily and you get “puffy” probably due to water retention .. my lifts skyrocketed, in less than 9 months training at 44 years old my squat went from 95lb when I started, to about 425lbs I did drop the milk drinking eventually and cut down my weight to my new preferred weight class of 180lbs, I continue training and maintaining around this weight and my numbers kept going up albeit at a slower rate ..It was a great experience and milk is a fantastic source of nutrients and calories , cheap and easy to add to your diet , however I would not advise doing this for any long periods of time especially 5 lt unless that was your only source of foodIt is a lot of calories that only an athlete can be able to absorb without negative consequences, powerlifting is brutal and the training requires a lot of calories to keep up with , an extreme sport require an extreme diet .. if you don’t practice an extreme strength based sport stick to the recommended consumption ..I don’t have any negative experiences to share, my blood work always came up pretty normal except for small changes in cholesterol levelsthat was fluctuating up and downI am 5′6″ and maintaining a weight of 200lbs is a lot of work but most importantly I found out I perform similarly in the 181 lb weight class

What would happen if you drink 2 litres of orange juice each day?

your body cannot store excess Vitamin C, and you would urinate it out, so no, you would not "overdose" on it
you would put on some weight due to the excess sugar
and as its a natural laxitive, you may spend some more time sitting down in the smallest room in the house!

like everything, in moderation, its good for you
in excess, there are consequences
