How to get followers on tumblr?

Well, to get a lot of followers, you have to follow lots of people. You have to reblog and post and respond. Get very active in the community. I send as many asks as I can a day, talking to people and c omplimenting blogs and just starving conversation. Having a theme helps too; My blog is mostly Sherlock, EDM, horses, Doctor Who, and TRON. So many of my followers follow me for the things I post. Just be outgoing and friendly to your followers and you'll get more.

Also, if you hit a milestone or something happens (e.g., 50 followers or something happens in your life) hold a giveaway! I held a giveaway and gained thirty followers.

Tumblr is awesome, so good luck! :)

Where can i buy tumblr followers for $1?

I have a way that's free: Put the time in and post stuff people care about.

How do i get my followers on Tumblr to ask/speak to me?

lots of people have followers who don't talk to them, one of my friends has 10k and she gets a average of 5 asks per week so don't take it personally. Join lots of promo groups and make friends, try inboxing someone first and be nice You could also reblog questionnaires (they send you a symbol and it represent a question) but those barley work unless you have a lot of followers.

much love x

How long did it take you to get 1000+ followers on your blog and what is the best advice you'd give to someone starting a blog?

When you speak of followers on your blog, I'm assuming you mean consistent traffic? In any case, it can be quite easy. I launched a travel blog Adventure Seeker (Launched and in a month or two had over 1000 followers) after learning from growth strategies I used on my first blog Creative Guerrilla Marketing (currently has 92,000 followers on Facebook and 16.7 followers on Twitter.) Here is what I learned and some advice.Tips to gain traffic to a new blogI'm sure you hear this a lot, but content is king. Spend the time to write  a couple good articles before you launch and schedule them. Keep in mind some people are ADD and we are visual creatures. With that being said, use really good photography and list based articles seem to do well for me.If you haven't already, set up social media pages for your blog. Facebook and Twitter is a MUST.Try running a promotion or contest. I created a Facebook page and used http://Offerpop.com  to do a Facebook contest. I spent $100 and got 1,000 relevant followers on Facebook. This way I had a small sample to feed my content to. Go for the share. Again, images are awesome.

Why do people have Giveaways on Tumblr?

Well, the main reason most of them do giveaways are because they don't need the stuff anymore, or they received it as a present while they already have another one. Plus, having giveaways will gain that person A LOT of new followers. Most of the giveaways require us to follow the tumblr and reblog the post. Just imagine, if your post have thousands of notes on that post, how much followers you have gained.

Tumblr giveaway random generator?

Here is a list of ways to choose, I think "The Hat" Application would be my choice

http://www.techmalaya.com/2008/05/14/pick-random-name-list/

Or Write it all on paper randomly and draw it from a box =p

Another option would be to find a random number generator..give each name a number and whichever number is chosen..there ya go.

How can I get 1,000 followers in 1 hour?

Note: This is designed for Instagram use. Such a process is unlikely to work on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Quora, etc. Have an account theme. It makes your feed look much more polished and professional. My fandom account theme goes by color each row, then by different criteria in each column. See here: Go to #followtrain. Find and repost as many follow train posts as you can. Make sure to hashtag it to #followtrain and the follow train or your choosing's hashtag. Use other popular hashtags, preferably ones relating to your account theme. Follow back those that follow you. Follow trains are based on the idea that you follow to get follows. If it's an account you really have no desire to follow, then don't. Just know they will likely unfollow you later. Go back to your follow trains' hashtags and find the same picture that others have reposted. Like it (if someone likes a FT picture, it means "follow me and I'll follow back") and, if you want, comment something like "I do f4f (or sfs, etc.)."For this to work, you really should do more than four or five. The more the better. However, keep in mind that your current followers may become annoyed by this. This method allowed me to gain 110 followers in forty minutes with only one follow train. It was a fandom FT, so it wasn't as effective as a non-fandom FT will be. But this method will help you gain very rapidly. Again, though, keep in mind that it can become annoying to your followers. I only did one follow train because of that reasoning, so I didn't get the max effect. Still, I was happy with the results. Best of luck.

How can I make money with Twitter, if I have almost 10,000 followers with 64.5K tweet impressions?

Twitter is a key part of any social media marketing campaign. However, you don’t have to have a blog to make money through Twitter. There are several ways that you can make money through the social network without trying to sell your own products or services.Twitter is a powerful platform unto itself, not just a conduit for marketing another site. You can create a Twitter account around a profitable niche — making money online, online education, or motherhood, for example — and amass a large number of followers interested in that niche. Then you can tweet links to interesting content from around the web, offering your followers something of value without ever having to create content yourself. So how do you make money? The same way you do on a blog: Selling advertising, sponsored links, and affiliate marketing. Here are a few programs that can help you make money on Twitter:#1. Sponsored Tweets is a well-known ad service for Twitter allows you to set your own price-per-click for ads that you tweet#2. MyLikesis an extensive ad platform can be used on Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, and your blog. You get to choose ads from thousands of advertisers, and you get to schedule the time the advertisement will be tweeted from your account. You can earn as much as $0.42 per click, and you can get a payout weekly.#3. Ad.lyis another ad service that lets you send out advertisements in your tweets. However, you don’t get paid-per-click. Instead, you create a profile of your interests, and then advertisers can choose your account to publicize a campaign.#4. Rev TwtIs a Twitter-based advertising service and is a pay-per-click platform. The more followers you have and the higher the reputation you have, the greater access you will have to higher-paying campaigns. A payout is made via Paypal when you have reached $20 in earnings.#5. TwittadClaims to be one of the first sponsored-tweet networks. You can set your own cost-per-click, but you have to wait for advertisers to accept your bid. You will also have to identify your niche so that advertisers can match their products with you appropriately. Payment is made via Paypal when you have reached $30 in earnings.

How do gamers make money with Tumblr?

Tumblr allows you to embed ads in your theme, but since a lot of how people experience your stuff is through the dashboard, a lot of followers does not always mean a lot of ads served.Users will often hide the meat of a topic behind a "read more" link that takes people to your site, rather than the dashboard. This ensures ad revenue a bit easier.Hosting content away from Tumblr (think YouTube videos instead of Tumblr videos) allows you to use those ad platforms instead.Tumblr's main advantage is that you can build a following extremely easily because of the way sharing and tags work; basically gamers can use the fact they can build a lot of followers easier than other platforms to direct them to places those fans can spend. T-shirt sales, donation drives, PayPal links, commissions and giveaway success all depend on how great your community is.Basically the monetization within Tumblr is pretty garbage, but the way it allows you to expand your audience quickly pulls in the slack. You must also consider people who will remove credit in captions - you'll often have to bake watermarks/credit into the product you create (art, etc). You also have to be able to hit the right demographics, as some games just simply don't have a presence there - my rule of thumb is that if people do cosplay and fanart of characters, there's usually a sizeable Tumblr audience to consider.
