Which chapters are important in history for the 2018 ICSE board exam?

As I am an Ex-ICSE student, I am very much attracted to this type of questions. I have gone through this situation earlier and have a good experience about all this.I know History and Civics syllabus is too lengthy. But there is nothing to panic. If one has studied the whole syllabus properly (not required though), now its time to jump to last 10 years question papers. It will just take a few hours to go through the 10 years question papers and practice its answer(questions are normally repeated from previous years)If one completes this task sincerely and thoroughly, then I am sure that the person will secure more than 90%And answer to the above question is “Last 10 years ICSE questions”. Just by analysing the chapters and questions asked in the last 10 years, you can easily make a winning strategy. It would reduce your efforts by 50% or more.As per my short analysis of history:1). Unit 1 - 1 `LQ (guess)2). Unit-2 - 2 LQ (concentrate on chapters related to Gandhi) (guess)3). Unit-3 -2 LQ (WOrld War) (SURE)Sorry no time for civics analysis.Still always remember this practise before the exams (especially ICSE) will decide whether you can secure above 90 or not rather than how many times you have gone through the book.Just remember, always solving the problem doesn’t matter, rather the approach plays the crucial role. This attitude helped me secure 97 in HCG and a total of 95.2% in ICSE.

How do I score a 100 in 12th CBSE Computer Science exam?

CS is a fairly easy subject , you have very less to study and prepare. If you have been consistent through t the year , then I can guarantee 90+ for sure. Here are some methods you may follow for getting a good marks .See Question papers of 5 years. You will find some repetitive Questions and Question Papers have the exactly the same pattern. So prepare by the same pattern. Try out over 5 sample papers atleast. 10 of them will be perfect.C++ region is a good scoring area. Till pointers its very to score like OOPs , Basics of 11th std ,Files, Arrays,Functions .Data Structure is fairly a tougher area where conceptual learning is more important along with ability solve the problems. Stacks ,Queue and Linked Lists follow the same pattern as the sample Question papers. 2 problems are a sure Question from this area worth 3- 4 marks.DBMS is an area that that requires Practice of different type of Questions of the same Pattern. One to write commands and the other to predict the output. SQL language is fairly easy to memorize and score marks. This Area is Worth 10 marks.Last important Area is Boolean Algebra and Networking concepts , This two chapters are related to Science Stream - ie Semiconductor Electronics Physics. Boolean Algebra is a Part of Digital Electonics that is related to Again Conceptual Learning and Grasping. Easy to score if you have the Practise and crisp idea of all Gates and Truth Tables. Don’t forget the KMaps ;). Again this chapter is worth 10 marks.Networking is a dry theory based chapter , Lots to mug up and learn. A sure Question will come -ie to design the Cable Layout for a Township. Learn well all of these concepts , definitions, and abbreviations. Each word of this chapter is important. Reading Short notes for this Chapter is useful.Output Questions come for 12 marks . Easy to Score , given that you practice lot of Question before hand. One array ,random function,Pointer ,string are sure shot asked questions.Even though these points looks so complicated , You are gonna see a easy stable paper. Unlike your Physics,Maths and Accountancy papers , You wont see any element of surprise or out of the syllabus . It will be always easy.Textbooks to refer :- Smita Arora (C++) ,for Class 11 and 12.All the Best .

Is NCERT enough for CBSE Class X Science and Maths boards?

Yes brother . It is enough . If you are devoid of time, Stick to NCERT only. Ensure that you understand each and every question mentioned in the NCERT . Most of them are easy enough . The moment you find any difficulty , simply ask your teacher . Ask him/her why a question will be solved in the way your teacher assisted you. Don't hesitate. If you are done with the NCERT ,and you are able to understand each and every thing , you may try solving the NCERT Exempler Problems. It is available as an e-Book at the NCERT site to download (For free) .I you have done with both the NCERT and the exemplar solve previous year questions . They are available in the market. For instance you can buy Oswal series of question banks(these are really helpful, containing good questions).I f you are done with the above mentioned steps which you would follow , you can solve RD SHARMA. solving RD Sharma will give you a piece of mind :-) But Remember , you may or may not require solving RD Sharma. I did not touched RD Sharma, still ending up scoring a A1 in Boards .that too without attending any tution classes. So if you follow this systematic approach , you may end up scoring well .#Remember , you need time to study other subjects as well . Keeping this fact in mind you may map down a plan in your mind. You may or may not require to reach the final stage of the plan mentioned above. i e. you may not require to solve questions from RD.Do clear your doubts from me , if any :)Take care ! Study Smartly !All the Best ! :D
