Will Fear Stop You From Criticizing Muslims

How do i stop fearing criticism?? I haven't Absolutely the slightest idea!!!?

Try to realise that criticism is only another person's point of view. It is all about the POWER you give to the person who is criticizing you.
Why do you CARE what they think?
If it is because they care about you and know more than you then LISTEN to their criticism. If not then don't fear the fear! You'll never progress as a human trying to please everyone. Trust me!

Why moderate Muslims get so angry when someone criticize Jihåd?

Come on, that ad was calling all Muslims and everyone who disagrees with Israel as savages.

It said "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad." You can't paint that as criticizing Jihad, that ad was trying to paint all disagreement with Israel as a mere choice between two groups, people who agree with Israel and savages, as if you could not disagree with Israel without being a Jihadist savage. It was trying to dehumanize people who disagreed with it.

Why do people fear to criticise Islam?

Because we get idiots writing articles like this one!Islamophobia is real. Stop the obsession with semantics | Miqdaad VersiIslam is probably the most protected religion in the world today from criticism, and certainly one of the most brutal in squashing reformation efforts. It says a lot when you could make a joke or draw a cartoon of any religion in the world and it’d be taken for satire, but if you did it with Islam you’d just get your office bombed. Just ask Charlie Hebdo, they got firsthand experience for that!

How do you deal with people who criticise Islam and Prophet Muhammad? I am a Muslim myself and I find it difficult to deal with non-Muslims insulting my religion.

Please note the answer written by Mohammedali Basheer. It is an excellent answer which covers the response as per Quran.Mohammedali Basheer's answer to How do you deal with people who criticise Islam and Prophet Muhammad? I am a Muslim myself and I find it difficult to deal with non-Muslims insulting my religion.I am not going to repeat what he has said. I would just like to add a few points. Please read this after you have read his answer. When you hear insults to Islam and Prophet Muhammad (Peace in Him) you feel hurt. That is a good thing. That means you are a real Muslim and your faith is alive. Prophet Muhammad (Peace on Him) also faced mocking. He faced that with patience.Faced with mockings, few Muslims stop feeling bad about it. This is a really bad outcome. Some Muslims get angry and try to respond with insults. This is just what Satan wants. The tendency amongst devout Muslims is to answer with logic and explanations. Interestingly this is not encouraged by Quran. What Quran asks us to do is to withdraw from such company. If that is not possible just stay silent and have patience untill topic is changed. And remember patience. Quran reminds us that Allah is with those who practice patience. There are many wisdoms in this approach.Debates rarely leads to guidance.Wastage of time is avoided. It becomes clear to people with clear conscience that the contest is between insulting aggressors and patient followers of a religion.Focus on knowledge. Focus on prayers. Study Quran. Try to understand Quran. Study tafseer. Practice religion sincerely. Ask Allah for help. Allah might bless you with friends whose hearts are open to Islam. Inshallah (God Willing).

Why can’t we criticize Islam?

You can criticize Islam. You can criticize Islam all day long. The only people who think you can’t criticize Islam are the jihadists themselves, because they are incapable of comprehending a world that does not revolve around Islam. But to pre-empt your follow-up questions:(1) Saying you can criticize Islam is not the same as saying that it is wise. Many government leaders will try to avoid criticize Islam because they do not want to give ammunition to the jihadists. If someone in America’s government publicly criticized Islam, within minutes it would be broadcast in places like Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Libya. That would incite additional hatred and turn people against us. They avoid criticism not because they can’t do it but because it is not prudent to do so.(2) Saying you can criticize Islam is very different from saying your criticism is valid. The problem is that, in America and elsewhere, criticism of Islam usually comes in the form of “All Muslims are evil,” or “All Muslims are terrorists.” You are allowed to say this, but it is factually incorrect. All Muslims are not terrorists any more than all Christians are pedophiles. You can say it if you want to, but I’ll be the first to tell you that you are wrong.

Why can't you criticise Islam?

Our Western democracies were founded on the belief in free speech and being self-critical. We also enjoy the separation of church and state. However, when we apply our investigative techniques to Islam and query the truth of Islam or Koran a number of individuals have been threatened with death, attacked etc. Sometimes it happens innocently. Some examples, French magazine Charlie Hebdo creates a satirical piece on Mohammad and its firebombed, Salmon Rushdie suggests Muhammad was inspired by Satan and he gets a Fatwa against him, cartoons in a Danish newspaper of Muhammad and Danish interests throughout the world attacked and Western media told to halt expressing itself freely, Irish school-teacher innocently asks Muslim school-children in Sudan to produce a little figurine of Muhammad and Sudanese mobs go on the rampage with death threats, Dutch artist killed when his art deemed offensive to Islam, New York Times prevented from writing article critical of Islam but is free to write an article attacking Roman Catholicism the week before. One can go on and on. Is it possible for me to ask this question without risking my life on-line? (well, I'll take a risk and hope for the best)
