Where do you hire teachers for your homeschooling children?
Thanks for the A2A.As others have said, most people do not.However, I have known of two cases - one a divorced father, one a family where the Mom had cancer - where families were seeking to hire a fill-in homeschool teacher.One spread the word through friends at church. The other spread the word via a homeschool co-op. Ads in homeschool publications, on websites frequented by homeschoolers, or even in a local paper are other options.But in general, there is not much precedent. Part of the core of what homeschooling is involves parents teaching their children. Thus hired teachers are very rare.
Teens: Do you own apparel with your school logo?
BQ: What do you own? BQ: How often do you wear it? BQ: What's your school mascot and school colors? My answers: Yes, I do. I own several shirts, sweatpants, and hoodies. As well as socks and polar headbands. Got them from track team, soccer team, school events, etc. I wear it at school sometimes, but usually at home games and spirit days. Bulldawg! (Yeah I know how it's spelled) and our colors are navy and white and gray.
Teens, when do you graduate high school?
I graduate in June 2015. I can't wait till I leave the dreaded High School and finally go into University (IF I make it in). I'm planning to see if I could score any of the Ivy League schools.
