Will I See Results From 1 Month Of Insanity

What results can I expect from 2 months of Insanity?

If you follow the Insanity calendar and eating plan that comes with the DVD's you will get results. I can not say how quickly as that is very individual. Most people take a before picture and an after so they can see the results for themselves. I am posting a sample of what you should do every four weeks for pictures so you can see the results yourself and feel a sense of accomplishment when you look at your monthly pictures. You will see muscles appear, fat melt away and a more confident you. Good luck on this Insanity journey.

How long did it take you to see results with insanity?

Losing fat isn't all about exercising, diet will always be king. I'm also worried that you aren't getting enough protein in your diet since you're a vegetarian. Check your diet, count calories everyday, know how much you should be eating. I don't want to be too technical, but for your height and weight you should be eating around 1000-1500 calories to lose weight. This is a rough estimate, you can go on google and search for BMR calculators, if you want to make sure. Insanity was pretty intense from what I remembered. I stopped after 1 month, I wasn't satisfied with the results, but many people had results so don't get discouraged. Best of luck, make sure you count your calories!!!

No results after 1 month insanity workout?? HELP?

I am 5'9", 145lbs. I just started the second month of the Insanity program, which means I've passed the 30 day point. I have done all the workouts (6 days/week) and while I don't follow the nutrition exactly, I eat relatively healthfully and stick to about 1700-2000 calories/day. I don't want to lose weight, I was hoping for more muscle tone; however, after I finished month 1 I took pics and compared to my before pics and noticed no difference. Plus, my jeans are fitting tighter! I feel like I'm stronger, but my body doesn't actually show it. Any ideas??
I'm feeling discouraged after looking at the pics. Especially after working my butt off so hard for the first month!

Re-doing month 1 of insanity ?

I’m currently a 19 y/o male, height 5’11, weight 167 lbs 'normal-weight' but needs to lose fat on the belly. When I started college last year, I weighted 213 lbs that was overweight-obese. I eventually shed only 20 lbs over the year through the long morning walks from home to college & back. I started insanity in the month of August 2014, weighting 187 lbs & after completing of month 1 & a week of month 2 (including my now even longer walks to college. I currently take a longer route on purpose, as this route takes me to the back side of the college, where in order to get to my facility I have to climb a long flight of stairs.) So with the insanity & the hardcore walking, I actually shed 20 lbs in a month & I now weight 167 lbs. I can see changes in my body (but compared to my 213 lbs body last year, it’s a big change). Now the problem was I didn't really go at the pace of Shaun T, but I did push myself the max as I could in month 1. Ever since I came to month 2 it was so difficult after completing 1 painful week, I was on the verge of giving up. So I decided to do 10 more days of the workouts from month 1 & now I’ll be putting a month rest to insanity as I will be preparing for my semesters. I will still walk though and maintain myself. Oh, plus I have even started taking oxyelite pro pills since the past week to boost my weight loss process. As of for now I will re-start insanity on the month of November again from month 1, is it okay?

How long does it take before you start to see results with Insanity?

I was eating around 1600 cals at 5'7, female, was probably around 150-160 pounds when I started. I wasn't even following the workout schedule, just doing one of the workouts every second day and on the other day walking for 30 mins- 1hr. Within a month there was a huge difference that all my friends really noticed and commented on. Don't know how much weight I lost because I wasn't weighing myself but I really shrank in my thighs, hips, stomach. A lot of that was fat turning to muscle and general toning up. I gained a LOT of muscle. However as with most people eating a calorie deficit like that was a disaster in the long run and didn't last. Gave up the calorie counting and now I'm healthy and in great shape from intuitively eating a whole foods plant based diet and getting lots of exercise. Still love Shaun T and do Insanity sometimes as well as other HIIT workouts, weights and strength training, running, walking, occasional Pilates, swimming and Vinyasa yoga. Good luck with your fitness goals!

Who has gotten results from the INSANITY workout? If you did get results, when did you start seeing results?

I have completed three rounds of Insanity, one round each of the Asylum 1 & 2 (the next program after Insanity), and currently in my third week of T25 (the new 25 minute hybrid of insanity). I have also completed several rounds of p90x, p90x+, p90x2 & p90x3. I consider myself to be a Beachbody fanatic of sorts. All that being said the results come rather quickly. You should notice improvements in your movements, repetitions and overall endurance increase on a week to week basis. Because of the constant variations of Insanity, your body does not get the time to become fully accustomed to the same routine and begin to plateau out, thus stopping your gains. In regard to weight and body changes, the results will vary from person to person. You have to take into consideration that a person may already be in decent shape when they begin a program, so the length of time to notice change will be longer. If the person is not in the best of shape, the results appear much faster.Keep in mind that Insanity is heavily cardio driven, this means you are going to sweat! For the best results possible, I recommend following the nutritional guide because your body will need the right fuel for such an intense workout. Also, if something is too challenging at first, do not skip over it, modify the excercise so you can complete it.The only way you will get the results you want is to fully commit to it. Much like anything in life, hard work pays off and the results will come. Remain focused, press play every day, and must importantly HAVE FUN! Best of luck, and if you have any questions send me a message and I will be glad to help.

Can i skip the first month of insanity?

im up too week 3 but i feel that this month is only to get you skinny which i am. is month 2 what really gets you the results or is it just the same. if not can i do insane abs, upper body weight training, max interval sports training, and max cardio conditioning. i would alternate between them.

Insanity Workout?? Results ? especially women?

i'm 17 years old about 145-150 lbs and 5'4''. im on day 5 of the Insanity work out. and i am totally addicted. i look forward to it every day and even when i feel like im gonna die while im doing it and im so sore after i always feel soo fantastic. and im doing it with two of my best friends. so i really dont think i have to worry about giving up. i would love to lose about 20 lbs.. do you think thats rational? have you done Insanity? what were your results?
Thank you :)

How much fat can I lose with the insanity DVD per month? I'm 25 and 150 pounds as I'm writing this and need to oose fat desperately. I feel incredibly insecure because of it. I'm willing to do it 3-4 times a day even if it helps and won't cause injury.

So...everything in moderation is key here. Insanity is a really rigorous work out! There are a lot of exercises where you can get really hurt if you use bad technique. Do the recommended daily DVD, no more!! You should be using that extra time (since you have it) stretching, drinking lots of water, and planning healthy meals. The "amount of fat" you can lose is completely dependent on your body and how it responds. I don't know your height, BMI, whether or not you have a thyroid condition, etc. You should see results with diet and exercise, but don't go crazy and get hurt by overdoing it. This will just put you in the couch nursing an injury. Simple healthy eating and a daily sweat sessions should have you feeling healthier, and that's super important.  A big thing to remember: Insanity builds muscle!! There is a lot of strength training there. Don't beat yourself up for not losing weight quickly; you are gaining muscle, too. Besides, 150?? I am 175lbs, 5'6", and have a lot of muscle. Don't look like a supermodel, but I definitely look good. What you weigh doesn't matter as much as that BMI (body mass index).Good luck! You can do this :)
