Will My Future Children Get Corrupted By Society

Why is the internet corrupting our children?

As I have been surfing through the Internet, I have been led to believe more and more that it is but a mere creation of the Antichrist designed to corrupt and infect the minds of young children in order to destroy any type of traditional Christian living to be manifested by the future generation.

For example, the Internet has been known to house many different ideological movements such as feminist "blogs", brainwashing our young girls into believing that their God-given role in society is not limited to being a traditional wife and homemaker, opening the door to allow them to defy the role the Lord has attributed to them.

Also, the fact that erotica is available for public viewing serves no other purpose but to engrave in the minds of our youth and glorify manifestation of one of the Seven Deadly Sins; Lust. This will pollute the innocence and holiness of our young children's souls ever so delicately created by the Lord.

Do you think the Internet is corrupting our children's minds and slowly leading them away from the Christian faith?

Will our children too inherit a corrupt and inefficient India like we did?

It depends how our generation works. If we work towards greater good for future generation then we can handover the better country and better society to generations to come. However if we do not improve we shall give the same country to next generation. Here it is important to understand that everybody in the society is not good or bad. There are good people and bad people. So it is about the efforts put forward by good people which will determine what kind of country goes to next generation. We need to work for it at personal levels.

Can we have a corruption-free society?

It is like asking questions:Can we have a disease free society? Can we have a crime free society? Can we have a society where everyone pays his taxes? Can we have a society where everyone is treated fairly? Can we have a society where there is no evil? All these are desirable in dream but impossible in practice. We know that it is technically possible to have a society where such things are possible. There was never any such ideal society nor can there is be any ideal society in future. Hence,There is no possibility of having a corruption free society. No such society ever existed nor can ever exist expect in movies and fiction. It is like the concept of heaven created by the figment of human imagination where people never feel hungry and never fall ill.Let us take the look at the hard fact. The Transparency International conducts a survey and publishes the list of the most honest and least honest countries in the world. In the year 2015, the highest ranked country were Denmark, Finland and Sweden with score of 91, 90 and 89 in 100. India scored 38/100 and placed at 76 above China (37/100, 83), Russia (29/100, 119) etc. (Source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Co... )It is evident that no country in the world has a perfect score of 100. Each country is thus corrupt to certain extend. It is also important to understand that all countries on the top of honest countries are developed countries with the per capita income of at least 30-50 times of India. There is no exception to this. India can reach to that level only after half a century if it keeps developing at the present rate. While there is no possibility of a corruption-less society, there is a possibility to less-corruption society as a country grows economically. The performance of India is not bad in fighting corruption as there is no country in the world which is less developed than India and still more honest than India.Corruption can be reduced only gradually and there can be no drastic solution to this problem. Please read my two answers to know the detailed reasoning why India is doing great job on fighting corruption and to know what are the best ways to fight corruption in India.https://www.quora.com/Why-there-is-so-much-corruption-in-India-Why-our-leaders-and-bureaucrats-are-so-corrupt-Why-can%E2%80%99t-we-remove-corruption-from-India/answer/Awdhesh-Singh-1https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-best-ways-to-fight-corruption-in-India/answer/Awdhesh-Singh-1

How can I contribute towards society?

There are many ways through which you can contribute to society and its development. 1) Performing your duties honestly is the simplest and best way through which everybody can contribute.  Duties would encircle all types of duties- official, moral, political etc.  A beautiful short film by Allu Arjun says it all-2) Donate. My family has this little ritual, on birthdays or anniversaries, we donate something. Donation is not restricted to money only. It can be your time, blood, books, food etc. 3) Try to keep your surroundings clean. Swachchha Bharat :-)4) If you have some time, go to an NGO, just talk to the people in there. I am sure you will find many new ways after hearing their stories.5) Pass on the knowledge you have. Make people aware about various things.6) Take a lead to solve a problem. Take initiative to change what you feel is wrong in society. For an example, if you think, women are not respected in India, YOU be the one who respects them. Charity and CHANGE both begin at home. :-)Thank You Ashish Johri for A2A.

Why do you think the american youth so corrupted ?

Agreed but I don't believe it's only the media.

"Before you blame the younger generation look who raised them".

Many of the parents today don't care what there kids are doing as long as there happy.

That leads to spoiled kids without discipline.

Students are doing poorly, they know about things they shouldn't know till high school health, and dress slutty.

The spoiled kids with the big egos are picking on the disciplined ones and mentally destroying them.

I don't see the brightest future for America.

EDIT CHANGES: Changed "also" to "only"

Are we in the dawn of a dystopian future like in "Children of Men"?

Not necessarily. This was one author and one movie director’s vision of a dystopia. It’s based on a huge “what if?” (Caveat: I haven’t read the book or seen the movie so I have only an overview of what happens in them, and I may oversimplify as a result.)In this story’s “what if?” the human race becomes infertile and society collapses. In fact we have the opposite issue. Human society has been highly fertile for many years and we are now facing a familiar problem of what happens when a species overruns its living space. That fact alone may deliver us into a dystopia unless we are willing to develop the means to survive well in an overcrowded world. That’s real, unlike the book.Although futurists, like me, may read a lot of science fiction that isn’t where we work. We work with what is, and what could potentially be, and how we can influence and shape that in ways that improve the future for all of us. Yes, we do use “what if?” questions, most often in scenarios, to encourage people to go beyond their usual thinking. We know, however, that almost any story you develop about the future in this way will be wrong. The truth is likely somewhere in between.Dystopia? Yes, that’s an extreme outcome and least likely. More dramatic, of course.

Is Nickelodeon trying to corrupt children?

I saw where the pregnant and unwed Jessica Alba was on stage at the Kids Choice awards, like she's suppose to be some kind of role model. Is Nickelodeon trying to encourage these teens to become unwed mothers?

Isn’t indifference to corruption the source of corruption? What are the forces which happen to cause corruption, both within the individual and society?

Yes indifference may cause cirruption. but only indiference in economic levels causes corruption for the rich will use their richness to corrupt the poor. For example. If like four people who are poor are on line waiting for certain services for time then a rich person person comes he mat easily use his money to be treated first despite of coming last. Unlike if they both had same economic level.Forces within individual which causes corruption are;;Greediness that a person doesnt get satisfied with what he has and thats why even rich ppo are corrupt.Power monger that a person would give anything to get power. Ignorancy that some don't know effects of corruption to the nation.. Influence from groups or friends that some people involve in corruption just because of influence from fellows who are corrupt. Poverty..Also socially corruption may be caused by ignorance of the mass.,poor government policies. However main source of corruption is poor enforcement of policies againt corruption.. If corrupt people will be given punishment accordingly and equally without considering looks abd levels of economy and political powers corruption may be overcomed.
