What is your review of Amity International School, NOIDA?
If you are planning to get your child’s childhood ruined, Amity, Noida is the place. It was a good school and was worthy of the fame it has when Mrs. Mohina Dar was the Principal. In that time, the school was brilliantly managed. Regularly events were held like Bal Mela, food festival, annual day, sports day. BUT not anymore.We are charged loads of money. And in the fees slip, there is this column called ‘Annual Charges’ which is about 10,000. (Charged once a year. Don’t know why). And my favourite ‘Activity charges’ which is about 12,000 (Charged Quarterly). And they make us draw posters on Independence Day, and 2 or at most 3 activities more in 3 months. Seriously? Question yourselves, is it worth it?Now let’s consider sports. They have a huge field. But they DON’T LET US PLAY! Why? Because Dr. Amita Chauhan (Chaiperson) believes that student might get ill due to playing after 12 noon. So I never get my games period. I will share one incident. In class 10th, I was the part of Football School Team. And we had a match with some some school. It was a home game(they had to come to our school to play) but our school, being as neglectful towards sports as possible, denied us to play on our own ‘big field’ and we had to rent Noida Stadium. We also have a clay tennis court which is slowly getting converted to grass court due to lack of maintenance.Being in class 12th, we had to give farewell to our seniors who passed 12th this year. Till last year, it was amazing. The school used to arrange proper lunch for students, dj’s, etc.. From this year, they stopped that too. Initially, they thought not to give farewell but thanks to our student council which fought for long with the school authorities and convinced them. On the day, they just gave frooti, a packet of chips and some people got ice tea. That is 1 way how not to give a final good bye.But still, there is a bright side to everything. Being a science student, I can assure you there is brilliant faculty in class 12th. Although, parents of my commerce mates, often complain about the regular substitutions given by commerce staff.P.S. And I hope you are aware of ‘free 10 C.G.P.A system in class 10’.Yep, that is my review. This is what I believe.
Is there any benefit in obtaining a certificate from CADD Centre for any CAD/CAM software?
Its not worth joining cadd coaching institutes , here are my reasons:Quality :Teachers1)Most of the teachers in these centers are people who had just completed their B.E. and working there just to get the certificate of experience , so that they can move to core jobs .2)Their salaries are too low (Rs8000 - 10000) , for which they need to work for 9 hrs / day . It means they have to teach atleast 9 batches the same software on a single day. Imagine how pissed off one would be.Booksthe books they provide in cadd center’s are really good . You can learn things on ur own .CertificateI bet you the certificates they provide u are of no use.If u really need a certificate in a software please check out the software’s website .Each software provider conducts an examMoney spentThey money they are taking from u is very high like 20000 for a softwareMy adviceIf u r really interested in learning a software , i would suggest u to buy a powerful laptop instead joining a cadd coaching centre.All the best.

What is the scope of ACCA in India?
During my 1st 2 years of college, I had a clear path in front of me. I always said I would do an MBA after I completed my BBA. To me it seemed like the logical next step.However, during my second year of college, I was party to several discussions regarding ACCA. I found myself taking a keen interest in the topic. At the end of the second year, I did an internship with an investment banking firm. The firm is well known for it's many meeting opportunities that it provides interns with so as to help us decide our career paths wisely. During one these discussions, the topic every one seemed to raise was whether or not to do an MBA. The final answer was, while doing it may be good, it doesn't guarantee a salary benefit nor a position upgrade. Further, to do an MBA, most colleges require you to have 1-2 years work experience but generally, once you start working, you rarely feel like going back to books and lecture halls. Third, it's kind of hard deciding what area you want an MBA in. There's just so many options.And this is where ACCA came into the picture for me. I attempted the ACCA papers and found that it was interesting. After I started ACCA, I decided what masters program I wanted to do. ACCA gives me a salary benefit that is greater than that of peers who chose to not pursue this course. It gave me an added advantage in the job market as acca qualified people are clearly wanted everywhere. When the time for campus placements came around, we who had started our ACCA journey were often preferred and given more perks. Companies were ready to pay the entire tuition and exam fees. All in all, I found that ACCA is a better option to MBA. Atleast for the moment.Also, with regard to ACCA in India, I'll say that it is growing. Many companies are still there that will prefer if you are a CA than an ACCA. But ACCA is growing here as well. Best of luck :)
