Can my Dell latitude D810 use windows 7?

Okay Lets break this down
You have a Dell Latitude D810 from 2005; Im not sure how computer savvy you are so we'll go over this one at a time. Are you aware of your computer's system configuration (such as the CPU and RAM?). According to dell your laptop shipped with Windows XP, which is okay because even machines that came XP are capable of running Windows 7. However, The minimum requirements for Windows 7 depends on the version you purchase 32-bit or 64-bit and even if your laptop meets the requirements the speed of a CPU and the amount of RAM doesn't tell the whole story. So if were to just look at the specifications of your laptop which might be the following

Dell Latitude D810
CPU: Intel Pentium M 740 Speed:1.73GHz
or
CPU: Intel Pentium M 770 Speed:2.13GHz
**According to Intel, your Laptops CPU (either of the above) doesn't support 64BIT Operating Systems, so if you get Windows 7 or Windows 8 it must be the 32BIT version**

RAM: It supports a maximum of 2GB
**Im not sure how much your Laptop is currently configured with, but to run Windows 7 or Windows 8 decently a minimum of 1GB is required, 2GB would be best; and 512MB would be the least amount allowed and performance wise it may not be worth it. PLEASE BE AWARE RAM upgrades may be expensive**
Graphics: Your laptop comes with ATI Mobility X600 Graphics which is supported under Windows 7 but extra features such as the Windows Aero theme *Glass Windows Effect** may not work

The Bottom Line: Dell themselves do not list Windows 7 as a supported OS for your particular Laptop or Windows Vista for that matter, Your CPU and RAM are the bare minimum to run the OS, you may purchase the OS and it may even install however I do not believe that it will be that efficient and you wont get a good user experience from it. With the combined expenses of purhasing the Windows 7 License and upgrading the laptop with RAM and maybe even a larger capacity Hard Drive you might as well just get a new laptop that comes preinstalled with Windows 8 (Microsoft's newest OS) or you could purchase a rehurbished laptop with Windows 7

How is Windows 10, comparing to windows 7?

I would say better, as it is hard to find something that would be better on 7 than on 10. So here's the list:1. Boots much faster2. Syncs data - if you log in with a Microsoft account, your Windows settings will be synced. Also there is OneDrive available out of box if you want to sync your files.3. Has a good browser out of box - Edge performs as good as other top browsers (though it still might get confused if you have huge number of tabs opened for a long time), and unlike Internet explorer. It is also sandboxed by system so potentially offering better security. Of course you can still use whatever you've got used, just you gain one new worthy option.4. Windows Store - every Windows 7 app has a potential to do a malicious thing to the system, and nearly every of them at least somewhat slows down the system. All that things goes away with Windows Store. Unfortunately, right now there is more crap there than useful things, but still there is a decent choice of useful apps, and I guess that even if you find just one app that you will use it's still a great addon to your Windows experience.5. Virtual desktops6. Mail and Calendar available out of box (though fairly basic).

How can I get Windows xp theme on my windows 7?

Do you mean put a Windows XP specific theme on 7 or make your 7 look like XP through thems?

If the latter, Follow these steps.
--------------------------------------...
1) Go here >>> http://deepxw.blogspot.com/2008/11/universal-theme-patcher.html <<< and download the latest version of Universal Theme Patcher. This program will allow you to put 3rd party themes onto your computer. Why do you have to do this? Well, Microsoft is greedy and doesn't like people to mess around with their stuff, even though it's now your computer. This will stay on you computer for as long as you'd like. If you don't want it patched any more, open the program and click restore on the three files that need to be patched.

2) Open up a new tab/page and go here >>> http://satukoro.deviantart.com/art/Luna-port-to-Windows-7-Aero-136960235 <<< This is you theme!!! :) Go to download, and download it. If you don't already have it, download 7zip here >>> http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7z920.exe <<< This will open the .rar file. Why do you need 7zip? Because windows does not understand what a .rar file is, thus making you have to search your brains out to find a free/cheap .rar extractor.

3) Run Universal Theme Patcher.
a) Open the .exe file. [UniversalThemePatcher-x86.exe or UniversalThemePatcher-x64.exe]
i)What's the difference? x86 is for 32 bit computers and x64 is for 64 bit computers. To check which one you have, go to Control Panel> System and Security> System. Scroll down until you see the 'System' section. Look for 'System Type'. There's your answer on which one to use.

4) Patch the system
a) All you have to do is click 'Patch'.
i) Make sure that you restart the computer before continuing to the next step!!!

5) Extract the .rar file. Then move the files to:
a) C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

6) Run the "install sysfiles X'n'" 'n' meaning either 64 or 32 bit. [Note: x84 means 32 bit]

7) Move the file Luna.theme to the root directory of themes. (Basically means to move that file to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

8) Then move the Luna folder that was in the same place as the last one to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

9) Double click the chosen theme [Luna.theme] and let the theme come into place.
