Wisdom Teeth Constipation Vomiting Should I Go To The Er

Body Pain/Aches after Wisdom Teeth Removal?

Anyone would be concerned about severe chest pain... I'm sure you would have been told you need alot of rest over the next week or two, however Ibuprofen is harsh, you should definitely be sitting upright for at least 30 minutes after taking it, and yes, with a large glass of water. Ibuprofen works by in part by it's ability to inhibit certain hormones and alters your body chemistry... I don't like to mess with nature so I hate seeing youth taking these unless absolutely necessary...side effects can be nasty!

Typical side effects are GI concerns like gas, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, nausea or upset stomach.

However less common but possible side effects that Ibuprofen can cause are gi bleeding or ulcers, dizziness, fainting, increased sweating, dry nose and mouth, kidney inflammation, gallbladder attacks, painful urination, heart palpitations chest pain, difficulty breathing and muscle cramps.

A common dose for an adult is 200 - 800 milligrams... signs that you are getting too much of the drug are drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, diarreha, rapid breathing, rapid heart beat, increased sweating, ringing in the ear, confusion or coma.

Not sounding so friendly, I know... :( but I do wish you a smooth road to recovery! Take up sipping on steeped green tea and honey to flush your kidneys of all the toxic meds and restore your balance!

What's it like after you get your wisdom teeth taken out?

Getting my wisdom teeth out was awesome for me. I got rid of a lot of pressure on my other teeth. I also stopped getting migraines. You will have to be careful of what and how you eat for a couple of weeks, but that's not too hard. You probably won't feel like eating popcorn or nachos anyway. I ate a lot of ice cream and soup.

Your dentist will say this, but make sure you don't use straws, suck on candy, or do anything else that causes suction in your mouth for at least a week, so you won't end up sucking out you blood clot and causing dry socket (that's where the real pain is). I was fine just taking tylenol and advil after mine were taken out, but feel free to use whatever your dentist prescribes you for pain. You will probably only need it for a few days. You might be a little loopy from the anesthetic afterward, but it's unlikely that you will have hallucinations from it.

If you are swollen or in pain for more than a week, then get back to your dentist and get checked out so they can make sure they didn't leave any pieces of tooth in your gums, and that you don't have any infections. Over all, it should go pretty smoothly, especially since you get to sleep for it.

Can an erupting wisdom tooth cause dizziness fatigue and lack of appetite?

“Fatigue on Rest”, headache, vertigo and the feeling of loss of balance, blurred vision, nausea, tension and irritability, were found to be prevalent amongst patients who had locally asymptomatic, unerupted impacted teeth. A comparative pressure sign was developed, which, when positive, confirmed the relationship between the impacted teeth and the medical symptoms. Removal of the impactions resulted in the alleviation of the symptoms. Stress and psychogenic factors are considered as trigger mechanisms, rather than as basic causes of the symptoms.Reference; http://www.sciencedirect.com/sci...Regards;Eleena Ahmad

How painful is a tonsillectomy? I'm 25 and need to have my tonsils removed!?

I was 22 yrs old when I had mine taken out. Yes, it hurt a little bit, but it wasn't near as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Make sure you drink lots of fluids, have lots of soft foods around, jellos, puddings, anything cold felt good, but keep it soft. I was eating regular food in 3 days without pain. Its all in what you make it, think positive and you will be fine in a few days. Good luck!! (The thing I liked the best, was WARM jello - before its chilled)

Does pain make you feel tired?

I have a sever toothache in my lower left wisdom tooth. I can barely move my mouth and my jaw area is starting to swell. (I'm going to the dentist Friday). Today the pain has been almost unbearable, but the weird thing is, I have felt SO tired. I slept more than I usually do last night, but I'm still barely able to keep my eyes open. I just took a nap for an hour and a half, and my husband said I was sleeping so deeply he tried to wake me up multiple times and he couldn't. I finally woke up when the phone rang right beside me.

So I guess my ultimate question is, could I be this tired because of the pain? Or should I get my thyroid tested or something else? Because it is not normal for me to feel this tired at all. Thank you!

Can tramadol help with tooth pain?

You poor thing! You’re right, the pain from that kind of infection can be unholy at the best. You really do need to get to a dentist right away. Most dentists will not extract the tooth while it is that infected and swollen, but it does sound as if you need another kind of antibiotic. He should also be able to prescribe you another painkiller for the short term. But you really do need to be seen tomorrow. That kind of swelling can abcess through your gum into your mouth, into your jaw or through into your sinus cavity. None of which is a good thing. So ask for an emergency appointment if necessary. I hope you get this taken care of soon.LisaSource: Do You Know You Can Reverse Your Teeth Cavities Naturally? You’re right buddy1971, it is not an Opiate, but it is a Centrally acting opioid pain killer, and because of it’s chemical make up, if you take it with an opiate, like morphine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, etc, it can actually give you withdrawal symptoms! the fact that it is a “Centrally acting opioid pain killer” means that it acts similar to opiates in the brain and the brain mistakes it for an opiate so that’s why people become addicted to it and go through withdrawal when taken off of it too fast… I also agree with you that it does nothing for pain!!! and that was before I was on Methadone! and it is worthless for dental pain especially when there is infection involved!Tramadol is prescribed for severe pain. It has codeine in it. it provides pain relief in about an hour after you take it. It can cause; dizziness, tiredness, nausea, constipation, sweating and itching.Dear Badtooth, I always thought Tramadol was prescribed for pain forpatients that can’t tolerate opiates ie: either addiction problems or allergic..Thus, no codeine. Sure hope you have gotten some relief! Also plz do not gargle with aspirin!! Don’t not chew it up and don’t put directly on tooth or gums. It can cause the gums to burn or become infected. It harms your gums, teeth and inside of mouth if crushed,or left against a parts in the mouth.hun I have the same problem right now the whole right side of my face is swollen all the way up to my eye… I wish I could help but I need som help my self cant afford a denist and that’s sad they rather have the money than people that cant afford there prices…Hi I have really bad tooth ache I take 3 50 gram tradomol and chew a solferden sorry don’t know how to spell it.
