With A Cpl Can You Carry A Concealed Pistol While Bow Hunting

Do you need a concealed permit to buy a gun?

A concealed permit allows you to carry a firearm with you when you go out into public. However, there are exceptions: You can not carry in a school, place of religious worship, any federal or government building. And if there is a place of business that has a sign stating no firearms allowed, then you have to follow that.

Now it depends on what type of gun you are getting and what state you live in, as each state has it's own regulations. But any rifle, shotgun or long gun you do not need any permits. If you are buying a long gun from a gun shop they will fill out papers and you will need to have an ID.
A handgun is a little different. Generally, you will have to go down to your county sheriff office or courthouse and fill out a paper or card, then you will take that to the shop where you plan on purchasing your handgun. Then after the paperwork on their end is complete you have about 10 days to take the card back to the sherriffs office to finish registration of your handgun.

I hope this answered your questions. Good luck.

Is it legal for Non-US citizen but green card holder (resident in the US) to buy and carry a handgun?

If you read the Second Amendment, the term “the people”[1] is commonly interpreted to refer to both Citizens and Pemanent Residents.A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. For example, until a few years ago, in Massachusetts, only citizens were allowed to get a Licence to Carry (pemanent residents could have gotten a limited license for shotgun/hunting rifles only, no handguns and no certain types of rifles). In the aftermath of DC v. Heller[2] and McDonald v. Chicago[3], the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, not known for removing limitations on gun ownership, changed the law and equalized permanent residents’ gun ownership privileges to those of citizens.Footnotes[1] https://harvardlawreview.org/wp-...[2] District of Columbia v. What is the process of gifting a handgun to someone in michigan?

I have been thinking about what to get my wife for her birthday in a few months. Yesterday a sales ad from cabelas came to my house and i saw what i would like to get her. A nice kahr .380 semi auto. Can someone please explain to me would it be considered a straw purchase if i bought this gun with the sole intention of giving it to my wife as a gift even though she has never even been in trouble with the police let alone ever gotten arrested? How could i legally gift it to her? How would i do a private sale to her? Say i sold it to her for $1 what kind of paper work would i fill out to put it in her name? I would like her to get her CPL so i figured it would be best to get the gun registered in her name. If anyone could please explain the process i would appreciate it. Also i take it, it would be best not to mention that this would be a gift for my wife when purchasing it my only concern is how many times do you see a guy looking to buy a ponk .380 pistol. I figure the guy at the gun counter would be asking me about why i decided on this gun?
