What type of vacation do you prefer?
well it all depends on what you like to do: if you want to escape from a city it would be nice to go to a warm quite place where u can relax your mind and body. then if you want to go to a place to have fun and party its better to go a city with active people around you. but in my opinion it best to go to a place quite in the day and wild at night.
Do you prefer to plan your own vacation/trip, or would you rather have someone else do it?
I definitely plan my own vacations. I know myself better than anyone else knows me. There are a lot of different things that make up a vacation and I don’t think that a person’s preferences for all of these things can be accurately described to a stranger so he / she can make the best choices for you. You can tell a stranger that you want to explore a country, and even describe the sorts of things you’re hoping to experience during your exploration. But they can’t know all the subtleties that go into your preferences for everything you want out of a vacation. It’s very difficult, if not impossible, to communicate the relative importance of everything you might want to experience in your travel (e.g., what you want to see, how much you know, how much culture you want to be immersed in, what kind of food you want to eat, how adventurous you are, how important your accommodations are to you, etc.). Even if it were possible to communicate those things to a travel agent, it’s doubtful that they would know enough about your destination to make informed recommendations (unless you want a standard touristy trip to the most popular places). The best trips are planned by people who do it themselves (or have their significant other do it for both of them) after a lot of careful research.
What kind of holidays do you prefer?
I prefer holidays where I can travel on my own and visit a city, country side or small town. I love to travel where there are mountains. I also enjoy day excursions if they are not too expensive and walking tours and hop on hop off bus tours.
Would anyone go to aruba for vacation and why?
Just got back from Aruba last Friday. My bf and I loved it so much we plan to make it an annual vacation destination. the beaches are serene, very clean, mild waves, turquoise waters. the high rise resorts on palm beach can get overcrowded but the low rise section is intimate and casual, and very low key. the island's main source of income is tourism, and the Arubans are very welcoming. just jumping into a taxi became an adventure b/c the Arubans are proud of their country and will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have experienced everything Aruba has to offer. Steak and seafood are usually the main entrees and you have several excellent restaurants to choose from. I would agree that the place is for an older, laid back crowd, but I loved that. No spring break here. Activities include snorkeling, diving, jet ski, horseback riding, ATVing, butterfly farm, wildlife park and donkey sanctuary, and plenty of beach, beach, beach. it has a very small downtown area that doesn't get too noisy and there are only a few choice places for nightlife. Again, that didn't bother me b/c in the end we enjoyed watching the sunset at night from our patio, followed by an excellent dinner and a moonlight walk on the beach. the weather is phenomenal; windy, but its warm, not uncomfortably hot so the wind is refreshing.
Oranjestad or Palm Beach which is better for a week vacation in Aruba?
The high rise hotels has a little more action. I've been to Aruba twice, and I can't recall much of a night life. Unless you hang at one of the many casino's. The low rise hotels (divi & tamjarian) have a better beach, (less people). The weather and water are GREAT. Have fun.
Nags Head or Virginia Beach for vacation?
I live in Norfolk, adjacent to VB. Virginia Beach, for the most part, is a resort strip with high rise hotels lining the beach. Unless you go to Sandbridge at the southern end, you will be staying in a hotel. VB has tons of great restaurants and nightlife, and all the same cheesy t-shirt shops and tourist stores. Nags Head, in North Carolina's Outer Banks (OBX), is much more laid back. It does have the touristy stuff like the water parks and go-kart tracks, and seafood restaurants, but the main difference is your lodging. At Nags Head, you're more likely to be in a weekly cottage rental than a hotel (but they have plenty of hotels, too.) It's also a much more natural environment that VB, with the ocean on one side and the sound on the other. Funny thing is, most locals here would probably prefer OBX to VB because OBX is more relaxing and serene. But, if you're young and like to party, VB may be for you. Just a side note - I don't particulary prefer Nags Head at OBX. Check out Duck, or Corolla in the northern beaches. Cleaner beaches, quaint shops, good restaurants. Or if you're really adventurous head south to Ocracoke Island, accessible only by car ferry. It was just named #1 beach in the country by Dr. Beach http://www.drbeach.org/drbeach/. OBX is awesome!
Do these eye drops contain steroids? Please somebody help.?
Avoid Maxitrol! that's the only one that contains steroid: Dexamethasone. Clearoft is to treat irritations caused by smog and air pollution and Trisorb an artificial tear. And none of the three is to treat an eye infection (especially Maxitrol should be avoided during eye infections)
