Would A 15 Inch Satchel Be Too Big For School

Is 15.6 inch too big for college?

I found a laptop online, which is the Acer Aspire ES1-511, however it's 15.6 inches. I've look online and a lot of people say 15.6 inches is too big.... I don't know if there's a smaller size of that kind of laptop but I can't change it because I'm buying it off someone. In your opinion, is 15.6 inch laptops too big for college? I've never had a laptop so it's hard for me to decide. I'm not really sure how big 15.6 inches is also so if you could provide an example to help me that would be great. This is the only laptop that I actually liked (on a buy&sell page because I need it asap). Also, I start college next week, any advice?

What's the best laptop bag for school?

Without a doubt Swiss Gear makes amazing tech backpacks and such for school or traveling - and the price tag often reflects this.  Honestly, if you don't want to blow your budget on a (pretty great) brand, simply buy what appeals to you.  A few things to look for would be the correct size sleeve/compartment for your laptop.  If you have a 17" laptop, don't try to squeeze it in a space meant for a 15" laptop.  At the same time if you have a 12" laptop, you don't need a compartment for a 17" laptop.  It's just going to bounce and slide around in the excess spaceStrong stitching as well as padding under the laptop compartment are two must-haves for any carrying case/bag.  In addition, well made padded straps.  You're going to be lugging this around, you want something comfortable.  Also look for an additional mid-section style strap.  Make sure this is well built and robust.  Also you want some water-resistance in the bag.  Some look for ventilation, honestly it's something I don't stress over much, but this is because for the most part I'm only totting my bag from my car to the office or classroom.  I'm not walking home with it on my back.  But if you're going to be doing a lot of walking, ventilation is a factor.  Features and additional accessories such as Removable sleeves are nice to keep dust and dirt that may collect in your bag away from your laptop, but of course if your bag doesn't come with one, a Neopreme sleeve is pretty cheap and easy to come by.  Ultimately, your maint points are a sturdy and protected design, that give you comfort, and appeals to you as the owner/wearer.  I've purchased high end and off-brand laptop backpacks.  Truth be told, when I spent a pretty penny on a high end backpack, I purchased with peace of mind.  When I spent a rusty penny on a Chinese product, I was surprised with it's sturdiness, but always questioned it because of what I spent for it.

Should I buy a 14 inch laptop or a 15.6 inch laptop?

There is not much difference between a 14-inch laptop and a 15.6-inch laptop.Few differences are as follows:You will not get a number pad in a 14-inch laptop but you will get it in a 15.6-inch laptop. This feature is quite handy!14-inch laptop is lighter. So, it is easily portable. But, if you are a student go for 15.6 inch laptop as portability matters for business people. For people with low eyesight and elderly people, 15.6 inch is better as it has both a big screen as well as big keypad. The size of touchpad will be smaller in a 14-inch laptop than a 15.6-inch laptop. There can be some difficulty while scrolling. The keyboard fits well in a 14-inch chassis14-inch laptop is more expensive than a 15.6-inch laptop even if they have same features.Buddy, What matters is your need and purpose for the laptop. Specifications of laptop matters more than anything else.

What's the most practical laptop screen size?

That depends on what you use it for.How much time do you spend carrying it around. If it spends all its time at the same desk, maybe consider abandoning portability altogether - a desktop will be cheaper and more powerful. If it’s going to be spending most of its time in your laptop bag, make sure it fits in the bag you want. What are you using it for? If you’re just editing text, and you’re OK with reading small text, go with a smaller screen. If you need a bigger screen due to poor eyesight, or if you intend to watch videos or play games and want a bigger screen, then definitely go for a bigger screen. Also, some tasks (like games and serious professional work) lend themselves to higher-power computers, and higher processing power often comes with a larger screen. Also, keep in mind that most laptops have HDMI out connectors (and the USB-C Mac systems have adapters), so you can connect it to a bigger monitor at home.I personally use a 13″ MacBook Pro for schoolwork, and a ~15–20″ desktop for games and Netflix.

Is the 15" MacBook Pro generally a bad idea for college due to weight / size?

No.I have a 15″ MacBook Pro and I carry it around with me daily.I have a backpack with me all day long, and it doesn't add any major amount of weight ( my bag is heavy though, so even if it did I wouldn't notice)If you need the power, then yes. If not, then it’s a waste of money. As good as the 15″ MacBook Pro is, a MacBook will probably be just as good for writing notes/essays/web browsing. The keyboard on the MacBook is almost the same, and the trackpad is a force touch trackpad.2400$ is a pretty steep price to pay. Sure, if you actually need the power it’s one of the best, but if you don't then the MacBook is lighter and cheaper. If I didn't need the power I would've enjoyed the MacBook a lot. But I do (well “I do” is basically having some things that are slow without having a good processor, even though it’s more of a luxury then a necessity). But honestly, the 2016 15″ is just awesome. It’s a slow burn, but the more I use it the more I love it. If you have any reason at all that justifies the entry price, then this is the way to go. If not, then you can get the MacBook for half the price. Either way you're getting a great laptop.

How much money can fit in an average size briefcase?

For informational purposes only:Using a standard briefcase (25" x 18" x 4") and filling it with $100 bills, you should have a bit over 2 million USD.Maybe not enough to kick back and retire, but it would make life a bit easier. Now, if you use the same briefcase and fill it with €500 bills, you would have over 8 million USD. Hence, enough to retire.Well, things look good on T.V.
