Help! I can't stand my BFF's husband!?
My BFF of more than 15 years has been married to a guy for almost 4 years. When they were dating, he was overly attentive to the point of obnoxious, and now he is completely selfish. My BFF complains to me about him to let off steam, but it is affecting my opinion of him to the point that I can't even look him in the face I dislike him so much. HE treats her and their children so horribly, and is completely unaware of it. For example, a married couple that are friends of theirs is having marital problems, and this idiot says to my BFF " I'm glad we're not like that". She refuses to "get itno it" with him because she doesn't want the argument and essentially lets him belittle her because it's easier than having an argument. I can't make her stand up for herself, so what should I do? Do I have a convo with him on the (off) chance that he doesn't realize what he's doing? Should I tell her I want to do that? Anyone with a similar experience? HELP!
