Would This Tattoo Look Good

Would this tattoo look good?

Would a tattoo of my last name in calligraphy writing look good on my back? I would put it between my shoulder blades and it wouldn't be super huge kinda just the right size.

Rib tattoo look good on guys?

I want to get a rib tattoo of a ambigram on my right side. I was thinking of getting the saint/sinner one. So if you look at it one way it will say saint and upsidedown it will say sinner. Anyways this would be a tattoo that actually would mean something to me and was wondering if you think it would look good.

Girls do rib tattoo's on guys look hot?

What tattoo would look good really small?

stars, hearts, clovers, butterfly, music notes, a word you like- love, joy, hope.

Does the tattoo look same after it heals?

Immediately after your tattoo is done it will be much more vivid, colors brighter and lines sharp.Over the course of a couple of weeks the top layer of your skin will slough off. Don’t pick or scratch it!!If it’s so itchy it makes you crazy or if you fear you’ll scratch at night, you can use a topical anesthetist like Gold Bond Anti-Itch with Lidocaine. I find it very helpful. It’s also a moisturizer so it won’t harm your tattoo. The first few days, if you’ve had color applied especially, the tattoo may appear to lose color on your clothing or sheets.I got this tattoo finished 4 days ago:The blue color is coming off still, today, so I wear a bandana over it while I’m working in the yard to both protect it from dirt and the sun and to absorb the excess pigmentation. As your tattoo heals the skin will encapsulate the ink and mostly prevent it from blurring but also as this is your bodies way of treating foreign substances that it thinks may be harmful. The process changes the appearance of your tattoo slightly. It no longer is obviously new and is the start of more subtle changes to your tattoos appearance. These changes may become more evident if the artist didn’t get crisp lines or used cheap ink or even wasn’t experienced in what depth the ink needs to be deposited in your skin.I got a tattoo about 15 years ago in Costa Rica - it’s muddy looking and has been for quite a while. I have older tattoos that are still crisp and precise. Inexperience. Lack of technique. Lack of research in my part-it was an impulse and will be covered this fall with another tattoo. Bye bye Imperial Beer logo. Expertise in the tattoo art makes a big difference in how your ink will age.You need to do everything you can to give your new ink the best chance, beginning with dedicated after care following your tattoo artists instructions, to protecting it from the sun forever, which will fade it quickly. And enjoy this personalized piece of art work. It truly will be with you the rest of your life.

Does this tattoo look over shaded?

EDIT: this looks very new. It’s going to change, even fade a bit while it heals.Follow aftercare instructions (if it gets itchy, Gold Bond anti itch with lidocaine works very nicely and also moisturizes.)Give it another month and reassess.Sometimes what we have in our mind isn’t exactly what comes out. But we adapt. We become accustomed to the tattoo as it is not as we imagined.I think it looks good. One more thing. The granny in me has to say this. I hope you see a dermatologist about the mole on your shoulder. With your very fair skin and moles, you’re a prime candidate for skin cancer. And don’t tan. Bad for both your tattoo and skin.————————It’s hard to tell. The way you’re standing puts the tattoo in shadow, so it looks darker than it is.

How will a tattoo look in my 60s when I get them in my 20s?

It is technically correct that tattoos don’t fade (provided quality ink is used). What ends up happening is that you slough off skin over time. As the ink goes down only a bit below the skin surface it appears as if it fades as there is less of it present. You can delay this effect by minimizing suntans and sunburns; anything that hastens surface skin loss. And the needles and the machine are not held absolutely perpendicular to the skin, so as time goes on and skin erodes that ink below the surface approaches the top. This is why fine lines appear to widen. If you’re looking ahead avoid extremely detailed fine line work. One that was a super sharp detailed one when I got it about 25 years ago has morphed into a dark blob. Most likely a combination of the artist, technique and the design. As for wrinkling? Avoid areas prone to wrinkle with weight loss and gain over time, either self induced (bariatric surgery, pregnancy, weight lifting) or plain old age (breast sag, Dad Gut, sloth). My first, a black panther head on my outer bicep 35+ years ago still looks good, even though my muscle mass there has changed.Yes, tattoos can be/are a fashion statement and may fall out of favor sometime in your future. And it’s good that you’re asking this now. I quit counting how many I have when I hit #28 and if I dress to give a briefing with a dress shirt and slacks on you’d never know. Plan ahead, get them where you can cover them in professional situations or when/if they fall out of favor. But still where you can show them off in the right situation while they’re fresh and sharp !

Why does my new tattoo look dull?

You may simply need to moisturize it, and allow the full healing time.

Does this tattoo look infected?

Photo uploaded was taken just now and the link posted here is taken right after finished. The top parts seem to be healing at the rate I’m used to but the bottom part is scabbing a bit more and is red around the tattoo. I don’t have a fever and am washing the tattoo three times a day and applying a thin layer of lotion when needed.
