Would You Rather See Cm Punk Or Daniel Bryan As Wwe Champion

How much longer will WWE need a part time champion like Brock Lesnar, who doesn't show up?

Until they get a good enough feud like Cena and Orton or Austin and Rock.WWE title or the other equivalent title(eg: WCW World Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Universal Championship) mostly revolves around a main feud that most of the time end up as the Wrestlemania main event.Back in the start of attitude aggression era WWF title most of the times ended up between Rock and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Then when WWE introduced brand extension they introduced a new top roster title as World Heavyweight Championship for Smackdown. As time progressed the WWE Championship mostly revolved around Triple H, John Cena, Dave Bautista, Randy Orton. The World title revolved around superstars like Edge, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton( when he was drafted), Jeff Hardy.Fast forward to PG era, the WWE title started to revolve around John Cena and CM Punk. Then they destroyed the whole storyline and rivalry plot by signing back Rock, and in both 2012 and 2013 the main event was about Rock and Cena, which sort of pissed off CM Punk, ultimately resulted him leaving the company, CM Punk could've carried the WWE on his shoulder as the face if he was treated properly. Meanwhile, WWE tested out superstars such as Ryback and Daniel Brayn for new feuds. Ryback wasn't very good at cutting promos and WWE didn't want to see Daniel Brayn as the next face just like CM Punk case. After that in search of plotting awesome feuds WWE signed back Bautista which backfired even more, finally WWE had to give in so they main evented Daniel Brayn in Wrestlmania 2014. As fate would have it, Brayn had to vacant because of injuries and put an end to the carrer then. This lack forced WWE to unify the World and WWE title back in 2013.After that they tried to revolve it around Rollins and Reigns. But Reigns was never good at promos and fans booed the hell out of him, so they had to bring in Lesnar in title feud.Fortunately now the WWE title in revolving around AJ Styles, Daniel Brayn, Randy Orton and it's in good hands. But the Universal title was supposed to revolve around Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Braun Strownman. But Roman never caught the attention of fans, and WWE is scared of pushing Strownman because of the Reigns case. That's why Lesnar is still around there. WWE really should've pushed Ambrose, and now he's leaving too, another CM Punk case I guess.

Do you think CM Punk will ever go into the Hall of Fame?

Yes. Infact I believe we might even see him in the squared circle once again. I've been following wrestling for a long time and I've learnt to never say never when it comes to pro wrestling. WWE has had issues with ex-employees before. People like Bret Hart have made up with the company. Infact the Hitman wrestled against Mr. McMahon and also held the United States Championship for a brief time. And yes he was inducted into the Hall of Fame by Steve Austin. Considering the fact that CM Punk is 38 and that he has very little experience in the octagon, also considering the rather embarrassing loss to Mickey Gall at UFC 203. I would say it's safer for him to be doing what he does best, that is to wrestle. He has been offered over a million dollars to wrestle for 5 star wrestling. Quoting The Million Dollar man Ted Dibiase, “Everybody's got a price”. And he does have a Hall of Fame worthy career. The fact that you see people like Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan holding titles today is because of the revolution that started that CM Punk started. Not only did he hold the WWE Championship for 434 days. He was excellent on the mic (the infamous pipe bomb) , he was a great worker and put up amazing matches (against John Cena for the title during the Mitb pay per view, this match was rated 5 stars by Dave Meltzer, another noteworthy match was against Samoa Joe at ROH, another 5 star match). WWE and CM Punk may not be in talking terms right now, but I expect things to change soon.

Is anyone HAPPY that Daniel Bryan actually won?

I'm glad the WWE is at least giving him a little bit of respect here, he is the best on the entire NXT roster yet WWE makes him job every week. What kind of justice is that? Finally though he wins a match and gets a proper celebration too. It was great to see the NXT rookies lift him in the air as a show of respect. Everyone knows he deserves to win NXT, he has the some of the best wrestling skills of anybody on NXT or in WWE for that matter.

Why does the WWE universe hate Roman Reigns? Is it because he beat Undertaker at WrestleMania?

Because in the main fans are tired of being “dictated to” by Vince McMahon who they must get behind. Several talents have gotten over on their own and their pushes ruined as a result. Chris Jericho, Christian, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan all deserved to be used better as main eventers/champions yet Vince did not get behind them for varying reasons.Vince prefers marketable “wrestler looking” types rather than smaller, more athletic and exciting workers to be his “point man”, hence why John Cena and Roman have been given the nod.As fans age, they quickly tire of the spoonfed way WWE does things and this leads to the hate on Roman. In many ways it isn’t ACTUALLY about Roman, it’s about Vince and the way he pushes some talent and not others. If 5 years ago they’d started on the same path with Rusev, people would have hated it the same as Roman.Undertaker is a misnomer and again has no relevance in hate on Roman, fans should be hating that he was still wrestling at that point and not retired before it got to that stage of jobbing out to Roman rather than blaming Roman for it.

What do you think of CM Punk?

At the time, he was the best thing to come out of WWE’s Version of ECW and you can’t really debate that considering how WWE’s ECW was.As a wrestler, he was one of the best on the card and that was due to hard work and ability. He had 5 Star matches in Ring of Honor before even stepping foot in WWE and proved he could do the same in WWE when he faced John Cena at Money in the Bank.In regards to his UFC run, I think he was optimistic. He tried it because many others did before him but just didn’t succeed as well as others. That’s fine, I’d love for anyone to pursue their interests. To me however, Punk is a relic of that era, the shining star needed in the PG Era. I’m not one of those saying “COME BACK PUNK!” because I don’t care if he does. I care about his future wherever he goes, but more so I care about the future of wrestling over any individual wrestler.Don’t get wrong, if he returned I’d be open too it… but I just think that people should as the star of their time rather than enjoy a few extra seconds of fame. Want proof? Look at Batista’s return to the company before Wrestlemania 30.

What is your WWE dream match?

Aj Styles vs CM Punk : One has to agree that both are incredibly gifted athletes and got serious in ring skills.Stone Cold / Rock vs Roman Reigns : Even though fans boo him every single night Vince wants to make him face of the company. After picking him over Taker fans are desperately in search of someone who can slap both Roman and WWE authority.Deamon Kane vs deamon King : Interesting storyline can be winner takes torch of the Dark world from the Undertaker.Dx vs Shield : though this is not possible as Michale is now retired. It is one of the dream match everybody would have loved to see.Seth Rollins vs Shaun Michales : one of the dream match considering in ring skills of both the performers.Strish status vs Sasha banks : we have seen greatest of two generation colliding in men's division. ( Hogan vs Rock and Cena vs Rock ). I would like to see same happening is womens division as well.Bobby Lashley vs Brock Lesnar last man standing match : unlike others these two guys have performed in both WWE and MMA. If there are looking some worthy contender for Lesnar Lashley is surely one.Brock vs Rock WWE championship rematch : everybody is waiting for this. Now company has pushed Lesnar as undefetabld beast, I would certainly like to see Rocky coming back and winning back the title from the beast incarnate. Though possibility of this is very low as it looks like Vince has already chosen Roman for that.Taker vs Sting : everybody thought we are getting this but it seemed like WWE changed its mind.Stone cold vs CM Punk.: The beer dude vs the Strightage dude.Lita and Edge vs the Power couple ( HHH and Stephany )I guess this list can go on and on as fans of different Era want to compare the Superstars across different Era.

Why Is Everyone Calling CM Punk A Quitter When Stone Cold Also Quite The WWE?

Stone Cold is one of the most respected wrestlers of all time. But in 2002 he quite in a similar way like Punk. He also had issues with the creative bookings and the direction his character was heading. He also refused to put over Brock Lesnar.

John Cena vs CM Punk Wrestlemania 27 rumors what do you think?

The same rumors are saying that it will culminate at WrestleMania XXVII, so they might well start their series of matches at Royal Rumble and then end their feud on the Grandest Stage of Them All. I think it's good that Cena has taken a step back from the title picture now and has let the focus be on guys like The Miz, Morrison and Sheamus, the future of the company. It's all about building new stars after all.

If the rumors are true and a match between Cena and Punk is set up for WM, I can't wait to see the build up for it. Both men are money on the mic (love them or hate them, no one can deny it) and it will be some of the best promo work we've seen in a long time.

The only bad thing now is that this ends all but ends the slight possibility of Cena vs Taker this year, but you can never say never in pro wrestling.

Compare CM Punk's current WWE title reign to Triple H's from 2008?

Punk's current championship reign recently eclipsed Triple H's day run from 2008 a few weeks back, and it's the longest one since that Triple H run. Which do you like better? Who do you think defended the belt better, and who had better competition. Who's been the more entertaining champion?

While I like Punk a lot, personally I have to say that so far Triple H's reign was superior. I think he defended the title against better competition overall and his feud with Jeff Hardy throughout that year was off-the-charts good, and a great story. Other highlights included a couple of solid matches with Randy Orton, a fantastic title defense against John Cena at Night of Champions and a decent series with Edge. Those are all top opponents, and it was topped off with that feud against Hardy.

What do you guys think?
