Xbox 360 Controller Problem

Xbox 360 controller problem?

Hey Keshave,

The problem isn't with your controller, the problem is probably with the rf module itself. The rf module is the ring of light on the front of the xbox. It consists of a power board with a switch, ring of light and rf module. You can buy a replacement ring of light on ebay for fairly cheap.

Here's a link

Just ask him if he ships to india, if not you can contact me and i'll sell it to you for the same price.

You can do a little bit more testing to make sure it's the rf board by taking a play and charge cable and connecting your controller that way. The controller will automatically connect since it's connecting though the usb bus and not the rf module. You can unplug your play and charge cable and your controller should remain connected. If it disconnects when you unplug the play and charge cable you know the rf board is bad.

I'm giving you this advice because microsoft would probably charge you about $100 to fix your problem when it's a 5 dollar part. It's really easy to take the xbox apart and it takes 3 screws to change out the rf module.

If you need an opening tutorial here's a good one.

Xbox 360 Controller Button Problem?

I assume you mean the LB button. First of all, does this happen with every game? If so:

Have you ever spilt any liquid on the controller? It sounds like the the circuit board inside is damaged. Either liquid or something loose inside is causing this to happen. In any event, I think you may need a new controller.

Xbox 360 controller, problem with right analog stick?

I have bought a few Xbox controllers, they have all the the same problem with the right anallog stick, the one you use for aiming with in call of duty black ops.. It get's stiff after like few hours of using it., and feels like crap. The left analog stick alway sseems fine.... It's the right analog stick that is faulty I Think if that was sorted out by micrsoft would be so cool, Iwould be able to play for hours with-out getting achey elbow (tennis elbow)

Is there some other xbox 360 controller to buy that doesn't make my gaming uncomftable, I have tried xbox 360 elite, wired all of them pretty mu8ch.

I have a double input problem with my controller in Injustice, what should I do?

Okay. The situation is kinda complicated, and I haven't played Injustice for PC.My first course of action would be to uninstall/delete all the x360 files associated with the game. Erase all the files associated with this joystick setting you have. In fact you can go a step further and reinstall the game (assuming you haven't gone too far ahead in the story). Then, you should probably go to the controller input settings for Injustice and set it to keyboard (disabling the joystick controls in-game might just give x360 sole control over the input settings).  If this doesn't work, try noting the controls on a piece of paper from the x360 file and test the joystick buttons individually, either in the game itself or on the Input Test program. This is tedious, but it's worked for me every time and you can pinpoint the problem. If all of these methods fail, just use the keyboard. Injustice isn't worth so much trouble.

Xbox 360 wireless controller problem? White powder?

Okay so I haven't played on my xbox 360 for about 6-8 months and when I tried to turn it on with my xbox 360 it didn't work. I first thought I need new batteries cause I haven't replaced/used in the longest time. When I opened my battery pack, there was some white powder inside the battery pack?? and it also doesn't connect anymore. Is there any solutions, I can do to fix the controller and I also want to know if I can't fix it, can I just buy the play n' charge and use the charger to play with?

By the way I don't have this happend all on a normal controller not the recharge ables.

SINCE YOU MY STORY CAN YOU ANSWER THESE 3 QUESTION(S) FOR 10 P.O.I.N.T.S

1.) IS THIS PROBLEM FIXABLE? IF SO, THEN HOW WILL I FIX IT?
2.) IF THIS PROBLEM ISN'T FIX-ABLE THEN CAN I JUST BUY THE PLAY AND CHARGE-KIT AND USE THE CHARGER TO PLAY WITH?
3.)HOW CAN I AVOID THIS PROBLEM IN FUTURE USES?

White powder on xbox 360 controller?

Xbox controller flashes twice but doesn't turn on?

if its not the batteries(try it again) then its probably the water. ive heard that ppl have out cellphones that have gone into water in a bowl of rice and it soaks out the water and the phone works. try that with your controller if you have the rice haha.you can go to the store and try pleading for a new one cuz your controller broke... dont mention the water, but they probably wont give you one :(

How can anyone re-direct the laser of an Xbox 360 controller to command another electronic gadget?

So you are thinking WAY too hard about your problem. The Xbox 360 controller doesn’t use a laser to send data to the console. Otherwise the laser would need to be constantly tracking and readjusting to maintain the link between the player and the console (It would even need to do this while both the controller and console are powered off).So what does the Xbox 360 controller use instead of a laser?I don’t know. It’s some sort of windows proprietary signal that they don’t release the details on (my guess is some sort of HD radio signal or some sort of encrypted Wifi). However, Microsoft, in their new business model, is going for interconnectivity of all Microsoft products. This means that your PC can already sync with a Xbox 360 controller. All it needs is the proper driver to do so (which can be downloaded from microsoft). then you can just connect your controller to the PC via USB power cord and you’re good to go. If you don’t want the tether you can also buy a Xbox 360 wireless gaming adapter and you’ll maintain that wireless link. Now if you’re making your own gadget, in which case you don’t have access to your PC via the gadget and most likely a raspberry PI. you can load in a virtual boot of windows on your pi (there are plenty of options), download the driver and you should be fairly good to go.Granted you’ll still need to program your device to use the controller inputs.
