No there is not.Yahoo basically had everyone on the net that wasn’t on AOL. These days, many of the people in chat are mostly people that are older or disabled and must socialize on the net to some extent. In the days of Yahoo, there were people just sitting there that wanted to chat forever, AND there were people who wanted to meet up. You could date, meet musicians, meet people interested in the same thing. It was phenomenal.So, of course, someone had to kill it dead, and create this god awful environment of personals online (which already existed at the time as well). Online personals are filled with fake profiles, bots, people that just use it for ego massage and backup when they are in relationships. It’s just a pile of junk , and mostly its too much work. Even Tinder is a lot of work, at least for guys. For girls, it must be the greatest thing since sliced bread, although I think women are more inclined to chat with a guy, not email back and forth, which is inefficient boring and slow.Chat rooms were actually fun, and you could still get all the apperance info and exchange pictures. Half of Tinder is women pushing their instagram accounts so they can become online models, the big hope for every women who’s even moderately attractive.The internet got MUCH worse in this regard, dumping local chat rooms for the app model.

I was on OkC for about a year until I met my current girlfriend, so I'll share my experience with you. 1. Its member base skews younger then most dating sites. Many, many users in the 20-30 range. 2. It has an actively growing dating pool. I generally saw 2 or 3 new people show up in my search every other day. 3. I answered about 300 questions. I'd say the match system works pretty well. Every girl I went out on a date with was at least an 80% match with me and I got along great with 3 out of the 4 girls, I dated before I met my current girlfriend. 4. I see that you're female from looking at your previous questions. On OkCupid, women don't even really need to message guys at all. There's just more men then women on OkC, so you will definitely be receiving many messages. On the downside, I've heard that women tend to get a lot of crude messages, so you'll have to sort through the junk to find the diamonds. There's certainly nothing wrong with you messaging guys, however. In my experience, I tended to get a much higher response rate when I started to tailor my messages to comment on something unique in the recipient's profile. Don't use the "wink" feature, it basically says "I find you mildly interesting but I'm putting the burden on you to reply to me"

Yahoo is just lucky and would surely drop in future if they didn’t change according to world. I know you want to mean there are many great companies than yahoo. They just offer is email, blog and a search box. I think they have survived till now as they were popular tech company and internet giant at first but now there are continuously dropping. If they didn’t changed the way they are now they would not exist meanwhile in future. Luck don’t work always. You need to do struggle too.
