How long does a check in the Philippines stay valid?
What I mean is if somebody I did work for gives me a check and I didn't deposit that cash into my bank until almost 5-6 months after the check is given to me. Is the check still active after 5-6 months? How long can a check be active before a new one has to be written up?

Earlier it was 180 days.And one more thingYou cannot change ,edit , amend the amount in words or numbers but can edit date provided it is duly signed by the maker of the cheque. Banker may accept this edit.

Yes it is compulsory to have caste validity for admission in college .But at least for registration purpose you could choose among the options -Available/Applied and not Received/ Not Applied .This would be helpful in case you didn’t recieve it yetBut you have to present it for verification at FC . In case you fail to do so before the specified date , you would be considered as a general category student for admission.(they don’t even accept the receipt)

Most of the processing on N-400 forms is done at local offices, so yours would probably be processed in Miami. You can consult the processing times for local offices by visiting https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.... although you should keep in mind that the processing times indicated don't necessarily reflect how fast petitions are processed on average. In some cases, I know of N-400s approved recently which were filed in April, meaning they were filed, processed, adjudicated and the oaths taken in about 4 months. I would expect yours to take longer than that; on average they easily take 8-12 months.

Yes. As per Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 The validity period of a cheque is 3 months w.e.f. 01.04.2012, hence the cheque dated 05/11/2017 will be accepted by bank up to 04/02/2018. Previously the validity period was six months.
