Yesterday I Got My Tongue Pierced With My Cousin And Today Every Time We Wake Up From Sleeping Or A

Tongue Piercing?

I was 16 when i got my tongue pierced. It was swollen for about a week.. but it only hurts for the first couple of days.. First of all, as I'm sure you already know, respect the golden rules CLEAN & PROFESSIONAL!! The tongue is one of the most dangerous to pierce and if you don't take care of it, an infection can lead to serious consequences ( especially due to the blood flow, it can easily spread). Clean place, sterilized equipment, brand new needle and gloves are a must.. if anything seems suspicious.. find another place.. Brush your teeth.. and mouthwash.. and try to avoid salt (it causes swelling)

Having said all that.. it was a pretty funny experience.. It hurts when the needle goes through.. then nothing for the next few minutes.. I was like.. i don't know why these people say it hurts so much.. it doesn't hurt at all after.. five minutes later.. my tongue was double in size about 2 hours later i think the "pain" started, but it's nothing unbearable.. if i remember correctly it felt sort of like a sore trough.. that feeling that you can't swallow anything.. i remember looking in the mirror.. and because it was swollen, my tongue had imprints on the side from my teeth.. it looked like it was designed with those pattern scissors..

The first meal was an adventure on it's own.. you can't really chew anything.. so the first few day you eat a lot of soups.. in my wisdom i had chicken noodle.. and all the noodles kept getting caught in the piercing.. and you can't really get them out.. really weird feeling..

it's been 7 years now.. clean and healthy.. although it still gets a little swollen now and then.. (the last time was 1 year ago when i ate too much watermelon, but i think that's just me) no chipped teeth.. no changes in speech.. truth is.. i sometimes forget that it's even there..

ps. if you get plastic balls at anytime.. make sure that you take the bottom one out especially for occasional cleaning.. plastic can have buildups overtime since it's not as smooth as metal..

Tongue piercing?!!?

I got mine done a week ago today. im 17. when i went in they placed a a big bunch of tissue under my mouth so that it stopped me from dribbling everywhere! Then he sprayed on the numbing stuff top and bottom. Didnt hurt at all! was just like a tiny needle prick thats all! Swelled up really big tho and i had a lisp for abuot 4 days.
Dont eat solid foods for about 3days tho! drink plenty of water and take ibueprofen.
eat ice and keep it on your tongue this will help with the swelling.
i'ev taken mine out already and put it back in, and its alright!

Also eat loads before you get it done becos you will be sooo hungry afterwards!
and i smoked aswell, tho i heard your not meant to and its fine!
jus rinse it out with mouthwash, not with alcohol init tho!
i got drunk the first night and did no damage. hope it helps.
well worth doing!

Oh my god, I have many things here.I do have a weird behavior when i am in deep sleep. Not once but proved many times. When i am a kid, i guess it is 4th class and i had given attendance in my sleep and my mom has witnessed it. I had many of those moments in my sleep. The problem is, i think that my dreams are taking place at that time and i react to them. This is something okay for me but the real weird part starts when i am dozy and writing something at the same time.In my tenth class which is in 2005, i had study hours in the night and most of them used to doze off and i used to do the same but we had a caretaker who doesn’t let us to doze. One fortunate day, i had taken my supper as heavy since my mess food was blissful that particular day and i was in sleepy head after few hours of our study hours. Our caretaker said he will give some test on that day and we have to take the test. I am telling you, if any one of us fails in that test then the cane prints will be on our butt-ox. So, i was preparing well but really had a sleepy head that day. After preparing for exam, our care taker started giving some questions in dictating and we have to write them on a paper. (I am from Telangana and my mother tongue is Telugu)I have written those questions on my paper in my mother tongue but in English. (Like in chatting style in Whatsapp or any other social networking). As expected i got busted that day and had those cane prints on my butt-ox.Thanks for pulling that off !

Thanks for the A2A.I am Telugu, and here is a compilation of songs that exemplify 'Telugutanam' (or Telugu-ness, if you wish) (courtesy - my grandmother :D)1.  Maa Telugu TallikiThe official song of the state Andhra Pradesh leads my list - Maa Telugu Talliki (it was written by Sri Sankarambadi Sundaraachari and sung by Tanguturi Suryakumari for the Telugu film Deena Bandhu). It honors Telugu talli (talli = mother) and celebrates all that makes a Telugu person proud. You can find the English translation of the lyrics at 'Jasmine garland to the mother of Telugus'2. Tenekanna TeeyanidiA tribute to the sweetness of the Telugu language, the song Tenekanna Teeyanidi (translates to 'sweeter than honey') from the movie Rajkumar (music composed by Ilaya Raja and lyrics by Acharya Athreya) is second on my list. You can find the lyrics (in Telugu) at this link3. Vedam la ghoshinche GodavariThe rich history of Andhra Pradesh finds its way into this melodious song sung by SP Balasubramaniam - Vedam la ghoshinche Godavari (translates to 'the river Godavari announces (to the world) like a Veda'). The lyrics (courtesy: Arudra) are truly moving, and they make this song deserving of a mention in this list. The lyrics may be found at this link4. Ravamma MahalakshmiNo compilation of songs that attempts to showcase Telugu traditions is complete without this song. The festival Sankranti, which is celebrated with great splendor in Andhra Pradesh, is beautifully described. The song is sung by SP Balasubramaniam and Susheela. The title translates to 'we welcome you, Goddess Mahalakshmi'. The lyrics of the song may be found here.5. Bathkamma Bathkamma UyyaloUnity in diversity - that's just what the Telugu-speaking community prides itself on. This folk song is sung in the Bathkamma festival that is celebrated in the Telangana region with pomp and gaiety, and deservedly occupies a position on my list. The lyrics may be found hereI've attempted to include songs that have strong regional undertones. Please comment if you can think of any other song that, you believe, should find its way into this compilation.
