Why is it YouTube ads always load flawlessly, while other video content is often choppy and slow-loading?
This is about money. Youtube PUSHES their ads much more aggressively and allow much more bandwidth for ads than they do their videos. This is because they are hosting videos for free but being paid my ads. If anyone thinks there is an actual technology reason for this, they are wrong. If youtube can stream ads flawlessly they CAN stream the video flawlessly, but do not because it is a waste of resources and doesnt make them money; where ads are the exact opposite.
