Yummy Lunch Ideas Highschool

Lunch ideas for a high school student.?

This year, our school will be going to a 1 hour lunch shift and in it will be all the students of our school-the luch lines are going to madness. So my friends and i decided that we would just plan out some healthy, easy lunch ideas and eat them so we would avoid the lunch lines which don't have heathly food anyways.

So do you have any easy, cheap, and healthy lunch ideas?

School Lunch ideas? For Teens?

I was a teen not too long ago. I take some of these to work as lunch. They should still appeal to high schoolers:

Asian Chicken Salad...literally tri-color salad mix, shredded grilled chicken, chopped baby carrots, onion, tomato, and bell pepper. Top with crispy wanton strips! Bring a separate container of Asian-style dressing to mix when you're ready to eat. Keep everything in a re-usable, insulated lunch bag. Ice packs are good, too. Takes about 10 min to prepare.

California Turkey Sandwich: Fresh turkey breast (not the processed deli-style turkey), lettuce, tomato, and two slices of avocado. Be sure to squeeze the avocado with a citrus fruit to prevent oxidation. Wrap tightly and keep cold.

It's important to have a balanced lunch, since it helps keep you full and concentrated for the remainder of the school day. Whole grains, nuts, fruits, and vegetables keep you full and have added health benefits. Bring a granola bar (which doesn't have sugar listed as the first ingredient) to snack on, too. Wash down lunch with water from a re-usable water bottle.

Healthy school lunch ideas?

I'm a high school student who really needs to lose weight. I'm about 50 pounds overweight. I've been working out for an hour a day for the past week, and already feel better. I've also been eating well. The problem is, I'm going back to school in a few days, and need some healthy lunch recipes. I've been eating foods that can't really be packaged and sit in a lunch bag for four hours or so. Do any of you have some healthy recipes? Also, do you recommend any type of thermos or ice pack or something, so I can bring yogurt or cheese? Thanks so much!

Healthy vegetarian lunch ideas for high school?

Senior year! Anyways I don't want to be making the same few lunches all the time so does anyone have vegetarian lunch ideas for me? Also please if you suggest anything please make it at least a semi-healthy but still very yummy suggestion. Thanks everyone!
PS. Please keep in mind that being in high school this food will need to be able to sit for about 4 to 5 hours at room temperature.

High School lunches make me sick! Healthy ideas?

Wraps using a large tortilla cream cheese (or not) and any of your favorite veggies and meats are hip and are very simple to put together the night before. Keep cold with a drink in thermo bag add a snack or two and there you are!

What are some good ideas for school lunches to send for my children in middle school?

Oh those days of middle and high school. I try not to think about my kids’ times. But my kids were old enough to help and give me input on what they wanted me to pack. “Make sure it’s not too babyish!” Of course. You can try to enlist your children, right at grocery shopping, what they would like to see in their lunch bags. My kids had to pick one health food for a snack and a regular snack as well. A sandwich and drink would be packed too. Since I couldn’t watch my kids at school, the best I could hope for was that they would eat some of the sandwich (peanut butter, with or without jelly, was usually the choice), maybe eat the healthy snack or what I suspected-it for traded or thrown away.Kids in middle and high school should have participatation I lunch preparation. They will feel more in control-they can have choices. Eventually they can make their own lunches-good for independence.Lunch can be a rough time, with everyone looking to see what YOU brought. No one wants to be embarrassed by their lunch. Not at that age. So by having them select their items, they can’t scream you gave them a terrible or babyish lunch.Do check for sodium and fat contents of all package items. Some have far more than kids should have. Also, try to avoid sodas, especially with caffeine. No doubt kids will say “but all the kids are bringing them!” My kids swore up down and sideways too. Work together to put together a lunch bag that will work. Yes it’s likely going to get tossed-but you can’t prevent that.

School lunch ideas for a ketogenic diet?

Can anyone help me with ideas for my lunches? The food at school is terrible. I'm trying to stick to a high protein/low carb diet. Although people are going to talk a lot of s*** but I need to eat lol so screw that.

I was thinking grilled or pan-fried chicken breast, deli turkey breast, steamed pork, tofu, hardboiled/scrambled eggs with cottage cheese, boiled, steamed, pan-fried veggies like broccoli, spinach, carrots, lettuce, roasted pumpkin, kidney beans..

I was wondering if having a sandwich with multigrain bread (9.4g protein, 22.8g carbs, 5.8g fibre) would throw me off because it's not recommended to eat bread on this diet?

And I LOVE FRUIT! I don't really want to give it up on this diet. Please help!

Are there any in school date ideas for high schoolers?

Hmm.. Not sure if you mean for dates at school or dates for school aged teenagers, so I’ll answer for them both.At school, I honestly don’t hang out with my boyfriend all that much. I have three classes with him and go to a very small school, but we both acknowledge that we’d rather hang out with people during school who we wouldn’t see on the weekends normally. If you want to hang out at school, lunch dates are always great. My boyfriend and I have very different study method and mentalities, and aren’t very good at studying together generally. Not only is it unproductive, it generally starts tiffs between us unnecessarily. We do see each other outside of school quite a bit. I’ll text him some in the evenings, and we see each other either Saturday or Sunday all day most weekends. Most of our time together is pretty casual— hiking, hanging out in hammocks, and having dinner at a nearby restaurant are some of our go-to’s.As for more formal dates, we like to go to a nearby art measuem, a wildflower center, and sometimes venture off into nearby towns to hang out for the day.My favorite date, though? I love to drive half an hour into the country and spend an evening looking at the stars.
